In the Old Testament, the Israelites offered animal sacrifices to atone for their sins. God tested Abraham's faith and love for Him by seeking Isaac's sacrifice. When He came into this world, Jesus died on the cross for your sins, becoming the sacrificial Lamb, paving the way for you to be reunited with your heavenly Father again. Part of walking the Christian walk is to become a coach or mentor for younger believers. Today, Pastor Terry encourages you to become like the disciple Andrew. The Great Commission says to go out and make disciples… so who in your life can you mentor and disciple so that they can grow closer to Jesus?

Has the Lord ever provided in your life? Sure He has! Think about the roof over your head… the meal you last ate… the social and familial relationships you have that keep your mind sharp. The Lord will always provide. Pastor Terry doubles down on this thought today as he teaches that the Lord provided a sacrificial Lamb to cover the sins of mankind. This Lamb was announced by John the Baptist, and He came for you. Today, thank God for His provision and thank Him for what Jesus did.
