The people of God have a responsibility to react, respond, and function differently. Most especially when we have been wronged.

When we forget who God is, what our position in Christ is and how we are to engage this world and our community, we forget that we have been clothed with an armor that is not from this world. Perspective is critical.

David's dancing was evidence of his reverence for God. Unfortunately, Uzzah had lost that reverence.

Character and heart is revealed in the tough moments, the challenging times. Our faith grows when we discover that it doesn't matter how "small" we are or how big our problems -- God is always bigger.

Camels are perfect animals for the desert, but they need a balanced load. We too need to check our load.

God's ways are not our ways, His thoughts are not our thoughts. The paradox of the kingdom is that in our weakness or littleness, He is most strong.

Rejecting God as sovereign King is done in many ways, and always has consequences we seldom expect.

God could have done it any way He wanted. He has chosen to use broken people to bring about his covenant promises. Our duty is our acts of obedience within his plan.

Present troubles determine future paths based upon how we remember the past. God has always been faithful in all of His promises. When we remember this, most especially in our deep personal struggles, we find joy and deliverance.
