Monet's mission goes beyond capturing stunning landscapes; it's about breathing life into people's dreams. Her insights into overcoming fears, achieving goals, and the power of representation are truly awe-inspiring. She emphasized the significance of staying grounded and finding joy in walking with purpose. Her decision to leave corporate America and dedicate more time to her children is testament to her commitment to living a life filled with purpose, passion, and fulfillment.
In our last segment, Monet shared her thoughts on wealth and legacy. Dji (Pronounced "G") Jeselene’s Andrade yoga journey began in India while working in villages with women to promote maternal health. The physical practice was introduced to her by her host mother who practiced every morning and invited her to join. Life is The Lab. It's time for moms (and all parents & guardians) to own their power (and help their kids feel more empowered), experiment with self-care, and design the lives they love. When we feel empowered to design the life of our dreams we show others that we can thrive. Dr. Stephanie Akoumany shares her journey and the mindset & paradigm shifts that moms can take to intentionally align their thoughts, emotions, actions, and habits with their dreams. She discusses the mind-body-energy-confidence connection and how ambitious African American moms (and dads) can free themselves from overwhelm through scientifically backed self care strategies such as yoga, meditation, breath work, storytelling, dance, nature walks, visualization, and journaling. This course was a follow up presentation for Jack and Jill Foundation's Eastern Region Day of Work.

Agility in Bloom Cohost and resident astronaut, software engineer, and mindfulness expert Zoe Akoumany gives children and adults practical tips to train their minds, bodies, and spirits to believe in themselves unapologetically, map out schedules to help accomplish their dreams, have fun, do their best, and be curious about the world we live in and even the unobservable universe. And she’s only 5! She helps her mom Dr. Steph lead online and in person classes about the mind, body, energy connection, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and all things STEAM.
