We can all relate to that conversation where we wish we were more confident, stronger, braver... 🤔
this is a game called assertiveness! 🔥
People believe positivity will take you places... but there is something deeper and more powerful that will rocket you to your dreams....
RESILIENCE! 💥
Yes that inner strenght that helps you push through when you don't want to...
When you want to quit, when you want to go home, when you want it to be easier...
Yet you know that you like giving your best and you signed up for a big life, so you don't quit
And you keep moving.
That my friends is the real super power 💪
The beauty is that you can build resiliance, boundaries and assertiveness - and in this episode Phoebus and I discuss life experiences and the How!

Anna Perera-Shaw is a researcher and Consumer Credit, Deposits & Payments Director at RFI Global - In this episode she takes us through her insights and we look deeper into financial wellbeing...
There are some shocking numbers and it is critical we all raise more awareness among the youth.
The problem is universal - and it is in each of us to educate each other and make better decisions
Our conversation, of course, is about financial well being and how it's affecting us - but ifrom the lens of a researcher rather than just like, our random facts.
In Australia, but also globally, you can see, especially with younger people, women and people who don't speak English, a lot of these financial products not really meet the needs of everyone, which means they're all these people who are left out... and this is so important -- When our finances are good life is fine when it's not going well, it's really becomes this massive burden.

"I didn’t like my body, had bad self esteem and was self sabotaging myself. In my early 20s I lived in a cycle of diet"
Noemi takes us through her transformation story of going from lack of self confidence to using food as medicine and helping others redefine their releationship with food and have the results they want.
For her not have self confidence looked like “Wanting to be very small, not wanted to be seen and constantly comparing myself"
You may wonder but what's the relationship between lack of confidence and dieting?
Well, Noemi puts it great words:
"By looking in a certain way I thought I would love what I would see in the mirror, so I went to this diet. Then the diet would not last long and then go back to my habits"
But then over time as she learnt about food and nutrioutiuos while helping her mom heal from precancerous cells, it became obvious to her that she didn’t want to hurt her body anymore, and that's when all changed.
She now works with clients and helps them release resistance preventing us from loosing the weight through a process of asking questions
Noemi also helps clients with emotional eating and feeling guilty; we cover how emotional eating is usually coming from feeling rejected and she then guides us through an ETF technique or commonly known as tapping so that we can release rejection and feel accepted.
Emotional eating is coming from feeling rejected.
It's a wonderful episode!
Hope do enjoy and please reach out if questions and comments
Love moni!

Shehnaaz takes us through a journey of emotional and physical healing - since young, her mom encouraged her to look at alternative medicine so she mixes ancient medicine with science to improve her holistic wellbeing.
It is all about deeply connecting with nature. We learn about different aspects about ourselves and our bodies, about science, about alternative medicine and then connecting the dots -- holistic means treat body mind spirit all of it together.
She calls it "Whispers of ancient wisdom" mixed with science
"you are the expert in your own wellbeing"
And it is our responsibility to inform ourselves and to know ourselves so that we can heal holistically.
In the episode we go through:
1. How to choose essential oils:
- Let your senses tell you which ones, and mix it with science.
- Citrus are mood boosting and energizing
- Each oil has a multitude of compounds and has multiple effects.
2. How to pick a high quality oil
- Natural vs chemical oils. Beware of hormone disruptors and check that what you are actually getting is the essential oil
- Certified and tested oils. Did you know there are oils that you can use in water (but only the legally certified to do so.
3. How to use them well
- Pause, breath, deep breath in
- Use the oils you can trust to create my perfume and home aromatizer.
4. Align your chakras with the use of essential oils
- Oils support the opening of the chakras
- For example, for the throat: speak your truth, and use a combination of oils that can help you
5. How do I get started and choose my oils?
- Have a conversation with someone who uses them
- Identify the things that you are challenged with
- Give it a go!!

All of us have felt like we don't fit in or that we have some sort of disadvantage compared to others at some point in our lives - whether that was in school, at work or at social situations.
Now imagine working in an environment where you go to work everyday and you are constantly subconsciously reminded that you indeed are different and indeed need to work harder to get the same treatment as the rest of the group just because of your gender, skin colour, ethnicity, sexual orientation or even professional background.
That is a fear based world not condusive to everyone creating their best work and being their best selves; therefore creating more!
Hence this is one of the most important conversations we can have in the pod... how do we improve diversity and inclusion in the workplace so that we can embrace differences and leverage differences; rather than making them weaknesses?
Nadia Edwards is a UK activist and Diversity Exclusion expert that guides us through practical things we can do to improve the workplace!

Daniel has been working in Greenpeace ships as a Chef.
He guides us through a fascinating journey from a thriving career as a Chef, to being an Activist, living in the jungle and interacting with a boa, to how he’s developed such a strong connection with nature and his soul purpose, to finally expanding on how we can also make a massive difference to mother earth.
He’s also got a fascinating and unique story about the trees in his childhood house, and how they are deeply connected.
It is fun, deep, informative, and I would even say spiritual.
So do listen in
