When Artificial Intelligence first came on the scene there was a lot of skepticism, doom, and gloom. And for many there still is. Is there a place for AI in ministry?

That’s a great question for Steele Billings, head of AI at Gloo. Gloo is the Church’s place to build a more connected ministry.

We ask Steele: Is it unethical to use AI? Is it deceitful? Wrong?

Steele shares the benefits of using AI as a sparring tool to sharpen our own thinking and enhance our engagement with people. He also shares the need for the our own God -given conviction around the appropriate use of AI.

He shares his greatest concern regarding AI: That it would replace relationships. Conversely, one of the great things about AI is how it connects us to one another.

AI is here and it’s not going anywhere. So, how can we use it to advance the Kingdom of God?
