Movies often provide a massive dose of motivation and inspiration disguised as entertainment. The best examples share terrific lessons if we care to look a little deeper into the film. This episode I’ve got two excellent examples for you, August Rush and Creed 2.

That's right, we're going to tackle the elephant in the room. Creative funks. They absolutely suck and we've all been through them a time or two. I want to share with you the one thing that has worked time and time again to break me out of them on this week's Adventure!
Being a creative means that at some point or another you are going to hit a wall. You'll feel like you couldn't dream up a good idea if your life depended on it, maybe you'll feel like there is no point in even attempting to be creative at all. We all know the terrible feeling of being in a creative funk and how difficult it can seem to try to claw our way out of it.
It doesn't have to be some crazy difficult process. Sometimes it's a somewhat obvious solution that can help to jumpstart our creativity and leave the stream of ideas flowing once more! Of course, we are all different and so what works for one may not work for another so your mileage may vary. That being said, I would venture to guess that for a good number of creatives out there on this adventure, this strategy might just do the trick.

What better place to start Adventures in Creativity than by laying out exactly what creativity is! All adventures start in the same place, at the beginning, so let’s see if we can get an idea of what creativity actually is!
