It's something a bit different this week. Instead of discussing something ABOUT creativity, Dave shares and actual piece of creative work he made a few years ago. It's a story he wrote called "The Twins".

Somehow over the last week I feel like I've totally forgotten how to edit or process my photography work. I don't know why, but would love to know if it's ever happened to you! Also we talk a little Game of Thrones, photographer Cig Harvey, and a favorite book from author Terry Brooks!

----more----

Cig Harvey - She's a fantastic photographer with a major talent for creating imagery that conveys such mood and emotion.

Sometimes the Magic Works - Terry Brooks has long been one of my all time favorite authors and this classic book takes you behind the scenes of his creative process.

Let's talk about writing a little, specifically about how difficult it can be battling the impulse to produce perfect finished products right off the bat!

Too often we sit down to write and that blank page scares the daylights out of us. It's glaring pressure to make sure that whatever words we are going to mar it's pristine surface with, well they better be perfect. Why do we do that to ourselves?

Creativity and passion go hand in hand. While it’s often overused, passion for what you create is indeed essential to the creative process. Some take it to a whole new level.

Follow me on a short adventure this week in which we scratch the surface of passion and creativity and the powerful relationship they share. Plus some fantastic quotes from Steve Jobs and Lady Gaga about what being passionate about your work should mean.
