Health, New striker....Shankland good enough and what we have been watching.
We are joined by our guest from Yorkshire...Mr Ian Brown.
Perth! It's not Camelot, but we gave it a try.
3 pensioners, 3 pubs - usual summer chat from us. Perth ...try harder!.
Enjoy!
We return!
After an extended hiatus, your favourite 3 pensioners (Garry Kerr, Jimmy Auld & Michael Hogg) return to talk health, football (dear god!) and what we are watching.
Interesting afternoon, its normally a great space for sound in the back room at Staggs, but we were joined (interrupted ?) by a man, his daughter of 5, a dog and something else!
Superb beer as always and the podcast was supported generously by a full Scottish Breakfast at S Luca.
Enjoy!
A special A,A&A Euros Edition, recorded just prior to Euro 2024's opening fixture - Germany V Scotland.
The game should be forgotten, but join us as we remember Scotland's previous sojourns into major football tournaments...its not a happy tale overall, but there are a few highlights.
A detailed hearing of our collective Ailments this month as we are joined by Heart of Midlothian Content Manager, Robert Borthwick. (ouch, his ankle!)
An analysis of this season (it's not quite finished!) and the season/Euros to come.
Latest TV/Film recommendations all washed down with some great beer.

Super service from Cloisters staff, but sadly no food 😝
A downbeat start after Hearts Scottish Cup Semi-Final loss to Rangers on Sunday...but we warm up nicely to bring you our take on that game, our current health picture and what we have been watching across Films and TV. Includes reviews of Civil War, Fallout on Prime Video, Shogun on Disney +, Ripley & Rebel Moon on Netflix...plus we recommend a Podcast called Dial F for Football.
Our usual mix of health, football and TV and movie updates. Enjoy!
Recorded in one of the Old Town (Edinburgh) great pubs....if a bit touristy. Good sound quality.
We take a serious turn after our Xmas and New Year break, as we interview our old Modern Studies teacher from the 70's - Alex Wallace.
Alex tells us about life at Craigroyston back then, the clog 'infestation', the moustaches and the camaraderie of the staff room. His career highlight as eventual Head Teacher of James Gillespies High School (including his initial reception) as well as his South African project.
Our usual Ailments, football (Garry educates us as to when the Scottish League started to go wrong with polarisation rife in 1969) and TV/Cinema chat is all in there too.
On a freezing afternoon in Edinburgh, your intrepid podcasters sought out solace with some real ale and it took 5 attempts to get into a good pub in Edinburgh's New Town.
Our original choice (The Cumberland Bar) didn't open - like other pubs post-covid - until late in the afternoon....so Kays Bar it is. (Great pub, fantastic, consistently high quality beers!)
Good sound in this one, some new Ailments were discovered and exchanged, but our combined mental health remains good.
Gary returns from Chicago specially to make this podcast - we briefly discuss Hearts and choose our top and not so top pub visits over the past 2+ years of AA&A.
Enjoy!
