Air Buds

RE-RELEASE: With today's news of the United States releasing Viktor Bout in exchange for Britney Griner's release from Russian prison, we are re-releasing this episode from August in which we spoke with Bout's attorney, Steve Zissou.

Happy Boutsketball! First off, THIS IS REAL: The Buds talk with Steve Zissou, the real life attorney for Viktor Bout (AKA Merchant of Death), the Russian *alleged* arms dealer at the center of the prisoner swap that could return Britney Griner back to America. Steve provides context for Viktor Bout, the clash of cultures between Russia and America in delicate proceedings such as this, and provides some insight on when we might be able to expect BG to come back home. It's an interesting one!

Happy soccer! Jamel and Benner regale Peter with the tale of sitting in the Philly Union section at the MLS Cup, then eventually talk about which NBA teams we're worried about. (Don't worry, Peter managed to bring up the Cavs at every opportunity.) It's a fun one!
