In this episode I sit down with long time friend, AJ Kross. We talk about how he traveled in a gospel band with his parents in Oregon and then through his musical inspirations like Dierks Bentley and Blake Shelton, he made the move to Nashville. We talk about how many songs he wrote in the first two years of being in town, stories behind songs like "Hearts Don't Really Break" and "You" (wedding song of the year) and about the new project he is working on in the studio right now. He has been working behind the scenes and is about to start releasing new songs in the next 1-2 months. AJ Kross is one of the best singer/songwriters I have ever known. He plays multiple instruments extremely well, he is an incredible lyricist and songwriter and his vocals are better than many I hear on the radio right now. We highlighted AJ as one of our Unsigned Artists of the Month back in 2022 and I can't wait to see what is about to happen with his career.
