Use and abuse the timestamps! We paint in the second half of this video!
First, I take a look around NerdWorks, a brand-new hobby shop in Worcester city centre (with another store coming to Malvern). It’s packed with Warhammer, MTG, D&D, Pokémon, PC gear, lightsabers, and most importantly, plans to become a proper community space for gamers, painters, and general hobby gremlins of all ages.
Then I unbox and talk through Space Marine Jump Pack Intercessors, why I’m adding more of them to my Blood Angels, and how they actually perform on the tabletop. We go over the models, the Captain with Jump Pack, the codex rules, points, movement, Deep Strike, Hammer of Wrath, and whether flying angry Marines are worth it compared to their ground-based cousins.
Important notes before anyone sharpens a chainsword:
• Yes, I know Jump Pack Intercessors aren’t meta right now
• This is about casual play and actually enjoying the game
• I couldn’t assemble them in the video because I’ve misplaced my hobby clippers like a professional idiot
• You’ll see Infernus Marines being painted instead while I talk Intercessors
• Thank you for your patience and understanding
If you enjoy Warhammer 40k, Blood Angels, hobby shop tours, Space Marine units, or supporting local gaming stores, this one’s for you.

In this video we will have a look at Warhammer Quest: Darkwater, breaking down what it actually is, what’s in the box, how the rules work, and whether it’s worth your hard-earned hobby money. From nostalgia and lore to minis, mechanics, and Nurgle-flavoured nonsense, this is a full overview for both long-time Quest fans and curious newcomers.

Let me know what you think of Darkwater, and whether your group actually reads the rulebook before starting.

If you’ve ever tried to organise an actual Dungeons & Dragons session as an adult, you’ll know it’s basically an exercise in discovering who in your friendship group has secretly taken a multi-class in Calendar Avoidance. So today I’m looking at Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked - a digital tabletop RPG that attempts to solve the age-old problem of “my friends are busy until the end of time” by replacing the physical table with a virtual one and the real dice with absolute units that behave like auditioning pinballs.
In this video I talk about how Battlemarked blends classic D&D fantasy with Demeo’s VR-born tactical board-game chaos. I talk about the campaigns, the classes, the combat, the voice acting, the minis, the storytelling, the environments, and—most importantly—the rats. So many rats. Oceans of rats. If you’ve ever wanted a digital tabletop adventure that feels like D&D but with 97% less prep and 300% more chaotic dice rolls, this might be your new obsession.
I cover everything from character customisation to class synergy to the joy of punting giant dice off bridges and still landing a crit. It’s all very dignified.
Timestamps:
00:00 – “Behold: My D&D Trauma Dump (The Intro)”
Why I love tabletop RPGs but can’t organise adults to save my life, and how Battlemarked attempts to rescue us all.
01:42 – “The VR Goblin Era Begins”
Demeo’s origins as a VR dungeon crawler and why it feels more like Descent than Shakespearean roleplay.
03:10 – “Yes, It’s D&D… But Digitally… But Also Not Quite”
How Battlemarked becomes a tactical digital board game stuffed with dice, cards, and mild existential dread.
04:25 – “Freedom for Forever DMs (At Last)”
On finally getting to play instead of emotionally parenting a party of chaos gremlins.
06:01 – “Fully Voiced and Surprisingly Not Annoying”
Voice acting, narration, enthusiasm levels that shame Dave, and a shockingly immersive vibe.
07:32 – “Meet the Cast: The Fellowship of Mild Regret”
Paladins, Rangers, Rogues, Sorcerers, Bards, Fighters… and the personality disorders that define them.
09:15 – “Rats. Why Is It Always Rats.”
Dungeon crawling, fog-of-war, tactical teamwork, and an alarming number of rodents.
10:48 – “Dice: Now Available in ‘Ridiculously Huge’”
The physics, the crits, the fumbles, the chaos, and the joy of disrespecting the laws of probability.
12:14 – “Neverwinter Tourism Board Would Be Proud”
Story setups, charming environments, fancy taverns, and miniatures absolutely everywhere.
13:50 – “Zooming In Until You Become Godzilla”
The delightful detail in the minis, environments, and the digital-table-as-stage-play aesthetic.
15:20 – “Skill Checks, Chaos, and Card-Based Shenanigans”
How Battlemarked keeps D&D flavour while swapping traditional rules for brisk Demeo-style actions.
16:55 – “Final Thoughts: Send Help, I Am Addicted”
Does it replace real D&D? No. Does it scratch the itch when my group next meets in 2047? Absolutely.
In this video I cover:
Demeo Battlemarked review, Demeo x D&D gameplay, Dungeons & Dragons virtual tabletop, digital TTRPGs, co-op RPG gameplay, VR tabletop gameplay, Crossplay D&D-style games, Battlemarked classes, tactical dungeon crawler, D&D minis, tabletop gaming in VR, Fantasy RPG review, Neverwinter, Forgotten Realms board game, Dungeon crawling strategy, and giant dice physics that should be illegal.

In today’s video I’m celebrating 20,000 subscribers in the only sensible way possible: by giving away a fully realistic Warhammer 40K boltgun replica - handcrafted by the absurdly talented prop-maker Harvey Harrison. If you’re into boltguns, Space Marines, Adeptus Astartes lore, or you simply enjoy watching someone obsess over fictional weapons, you’re in the right place.
I take you through the entire history and mechanics of the Warhammer 40K bolter, from mass-reactive bolts to Mark Vb Godwyn Patterns, boltgun calibres, Sisters of Battle variants, Chaos retro tech, and every flavour of bolt ammunition the Imperium uses to remove heresy from existence. If you’re searching for Warhammer bolter explained, how boltguns work, Space Marine weapons, boltgun replica review, or Warhammer 40K lore deep dive, this breakdown covers it.
Also - the giveaway. I’ll be posting one Community Post here on YouTube explaining how to enter. That post is the only entry method, so keep an eye out.
Huge thanks to Harvey for creating this masterpiece. His Instagram is linked below - go give him a follow; you will not regret it.

The Sacred 2 Remaster should’ve been a cosy blast from the past… but after two hours of bugs, missing features, janky UI, and NPCs replicating like they’re in The Matrix, it’s safe to say this “remaster” has sent my nostalgia goggles flying across the room.
What’s in the Video:
• Honest review and critique of the Sacred 2 Remaster
• Comparison to the original Sacred 2 (2008)
• Performance issues, bugs, crashes & missing features
• Visual “improvements” that make the game worse • Why the UI redesign is a step backwards
• The Blind Guardian nostalgia factor
• Whether this version is worth buying—or refunding

In this video, I talk about Suboden Khan, the First Khan of the White Scars in Warhammer 40K. After visiting Motorcycle Live and being surrounded by real-world superbikes, it felt like the perfect time to explore one of Warhammer’s most iconic biker characters.
This is a beginner-friendly breakdown of Suboden Khan, the White Scars, their combat doctrine, their history, and why this character is becoming such a standout figure in the lore. I cover who Suboden Khan is, how the White Scars operate, what makes their Brotherhood structure unique, and how their fast-attack, high-mobility warfare sets them apart from other Space Marine Chapters.
I also have a look at the Third War for Armageddon, Huron Blackheart, the Red Corsairs, the attack on Chogoris, the fall of Jurga Khan, the decline of Jubal Khan, and Suboden’s rise through the ranks. You’ll also learn about Suboden’s relics, including his anti-grav bike Thunder, gifted by Belisarius Cawl, and his power glaive Stormtooth.

In this video, I am going to talk about my full experience of the To The Moon Expo at the NEC in Birmingham. This brand-new UK gaming event promised big things, from esports arenas to industry guests and a so-called movement for gamers. I attended without knowing about any of the controversies circulating online, so what you’ll hear first is my real, unfiltered experience of the expo itself, followed by a look at the wider online reaction, the criticisms, the speculation, and some of the stranger details people have discovered.
This is a long, detailed breakdown of what actually happened on the day, what the event promised, what it delivered, and how it compares to shows like EGX, Insomnia and UK Games Expo.
TIMESTAMPS:
0:00 – A Polite Sprint into Chaos
2:26 – Promises, Pipelines and a Silent Astronaut
7:08 – Creators, Damp Socks and Financial Regret
10:51 – My Extremely Measured Expectations
12:20 – The Queue, the Penguins and the Overpriced Coke
19:59 – Crypto Theories, Yacht Designers and Other Plot Twists
27:45 – Mildly Enjoyable and Surprisingly Not on Fire: Conclusions
WHAT I COVER IN THIS VIDEO:
• My full experience at To The Moon Expo at the NEC
• Honest impressions of the expo’s layout, attendance and atmosphere
• Retro gaming section, simulators, indie games and early-stage demos
• Guest signings, voice actors and meet and greets
• Ticket prices, NEC parking and whether the cost was justified
• Creator passes, influencer expectations and online backlash
• The controversies and speculation circulating on X and TikTok
• AI art concerns, blockchain rumours and Companies House deep dives
• Comparisons with EGX, Insomnia and other UK gaming conventions
• Why the event felt unexpectedly introvert-friendly
• Where the expo could realistically improve if it returns next year
I approach the whole thing from a grounded perspective; this was a first-time gaming event, attempting something ambitious at a difficult time of year. Some parts worked, some did not, and the online discourse has been far more entertaining than the drama deserved.
If you are looking for an honest review of a new UK gaming convention from the perspective of someone who loves retro games, indie titles and a quiet expo hall, this video gives you exactly that.
