What was your experience of migrating from your birth country to another? Are you glad you were able to migrate or do you regret the experience?
We asked these questions and more during a Clubhouse Conversation.
Our special guest was Abena Eyeson author of ‘Looking Up’, - a book that charts the journey of 13-year-old Esi who leaves her life with her grandmother, aunt and cousin to live with her mum in London.
Abena kicks off this podcast with a reading from her book and we also hear from audience members about their experiences of migration, the impact it has had into their adulthood.
