In our final episode regarding the chicken egg, we study the many variances in egg designs within different animal species.

Why would blind and uncaring evolutionary mutations place the air sack at the large end of the egg? How did blood vessels mutate to coincidentally find nourishment that could be assimilated by the embryos system?

We learn more about the chick growing inside the egg, specifically the chick's egg tooth, which allows the chick to begin breathing and then to peck his way through... and then soon disappears!
