Listening to Django Reinhardt cookin' some burgers. What a day of contradiction, especially regarding the bovines.
Unplanned appearances by: Wugalter/Siegelbaum, Ashley of Valentine's Days Past.
Another couchcast idea that came to me whilst urinating. The idea that Leonard Cohen's The Old Revolution is basically his imitation of a folk song he made his own 'The Partisan.'
Then his other folk song: Un Canadien Errant
Leonard Cohen himself translates Un Canadien Errant in his incredible piece of footage.

dream the Gardens transcendental,
walk among them, think

waft thru brain current be:

the snarl in the lip of the death-eyed dog,
the secret inside the man,
the man with the throat full of
secret, the secret condecension.
(mind the gap)

barren as the beer glass, empty, now
of a sudden, soft.
