Summer on the Mount Series, Part 1

When we encounter Jesus, He always gives us something to obey.

We want to MAKE ROOM for The Next Generation, The Neighborhood, and The Nations! We are doing what we can to create space to tell what the Lord has done, and as we do we trust that God is going to continue to write stories.

God saves us...
1. through His abundant Mercy
2. for a Living Hope through New Birth
3. through the Resurrection of Jesus Christ
4. for an incorruptible Inheritance in Heaven
5. to Rejoice When we Have Trials
6. through a Gospel Revealed to the Prophets that Amazes Angels

God’s delays are not always God’s denials. We tend to interpret the love of God through our circumstances rather than interpreting our circumstances through the love of God. Biblical faith is confidence in something that has yet to happen as if it has already happened.

To be a Christian is to be what Jesus says here, “salt and light in a world that is dark and decaying.”

BIG IDEA: Prayer Is More About Communication Than Accumulation.

Waiting well means trusting that God is doing something in you, even when nothing seems to be happening around you.

1. Where has your identity been placed? Is it in money or in God?
2. How can you continue or begin to be generous with what you’ve been given?
3. Who or what do you find satisfaction in?

BIG IDEA: Conflict Among Us Is Often An Indicator Of Conflict Within Us.

Our Words Aren’t An Exception To The Condition Of Our Heart, They Are The Exposure Of It.
