NOMADS
Destiny 2 – We are currently in Episode Heresy, Act 1. Act 2 launches this Tuesday with a new mode called Court of Blades. It takes inspiration from Destiny 1 Court of Oryx. It has an augment system similar to what WoW had in Torghast. 5 new weapons are tied to this activity.
Guardian games also launches with Act 2. Guardian games has a boss rush mode as an activity.
Bungie had a developer stream last week going over Act 2, and gave information on new things coming in Act 3 which launches only 3 weeks after Act 2.
Act 3 has a mode coming that is basically what LFR is in Wow but for Destiny 2 dungeons called explorer mode. It seems pretty cool, basically a matchmade activity with a lot of markers and tips in game on how to complete the dungeon.
No organized guild activities, there are a handful of us still playing and getting together to run Nightfalls and dungeons.
WoW
In WoW news, the Liberation of Undermine Raid arrived, with lots of crazy mechanics and a big Vegas vibe. First boss Vexie and the Geargrinders make quite an entrance! You have been warned.
Raid Team Kiddie Aggro cleared Normal (Good night, Gallywix) as well as Vexie on Heroic.
Alliance Raid team Hell Froze Over downed five bosses on Normal – up to Sprocket-monger Lockenstock. Their progression Team, So Let’s Go Skating – picks up right about now with The One-Armed Bandit.
Noob Raid defeated two bosses – Vexie and the Cauldron of Carnage (aka Mecha Kong vs Fire Breathing T-Rex) and the weekly World Boss. Great job, Noob Raiders!
There is one wing (three bosses) available in LFR for those with gear level 606. On Tuesday, the raid will be available on Story Mode for solo players. You don’t get loot but can complete a quest for a nice crafting upgrade item.
Delves in Season 2 award a new customizable mount: Delver’s Gob-Trotter, and Bran can now tank, but needs our help after an encounter with a new villain known as The Underpin, who stole Bran’s hat and all our curios! Among the new curios are the Mechasaur EZ-Build Kit and Kaja’Cola Carrier.
There are two new delves: Sidestreet Sluice (aka what floor am on again?) and Excavation Site 9. Previous delves have some minor story updates, with goblin shenanigans.
And Dungeoneering Inc is 6/8 on normal. We raid on Sat nights.
WoW Classic
We have been seeing some more AIE traffic in the classic Discord channels which is encouraging. Nothing big in the news to speak of regarding the WoW Classic alternative universe.

FFXIV
Live Letter on March 14th, 3 am PDT
Patch is expected to be Mar 25 but that will be confirmed at this Live Letter.
STO
Star Trek Online’s 15th Anniversary event is going on now with Garrett Command Alliance Dreadnought Cruiser as the reward. This event ends soon and you no longer have enough time to earn the cruiser for free, but you could buy out the event to get the ship. Many are hailing this as one of the better ships available in the game and it is our recommendation that you don’t miss this chance.
The Fed fleet is still just stacking provisions to allow folks to earn their fleet credits for use in the fleet stores.
The KDF fleet has been progressing along nicely. We just completed Tier I of the Colony, which allows for the coffers to autofill a little each day, which will speed up future progress at the Colony. The Spire is closing in on Tier III, which will unlock the elite tactical consoles. And the Research Lab is pushing the projects to complete Tier II, opening up some nice science consoles for doing space magic.
Fleet Action Report has just passed 240 episodes and started a new series on helping players new and returning from a long hiatus in relearning the game. We are not sure how many episodes this will take, but the goal is to try and cover the things people struggle with the most.
GW2
The next update for Guild Wars 2®: Janthir Wilds is ”Repentance,” launching on March 11.
Upcoming is the (currently unscheduled) Super Adventure Festival, which typically runs 3 weeks from Late March to mid April. A celebration of old school platforming with bright colors and pixilated graphics.
LOTRO
The 64 bit servers have finally opened and after an issue with character transfers we are getting the kin finally moved to the new 64 bit RP server “Peregrin”. Once they open up the housing and we get our kin house, we will have a kin house party to celebrate during SNL after the house is purchased. The spring festival also returns at 10am on March 13 and runs through April 1.

Ashes of Creation – Beta is in progress. Bhock is playing and I’m sure there are some others. Still a ways out for official release.
WoW
Patch 11.1 releases this Tuesday Feb 25th, and Season 2 begins the following week on March 4th!
Per usual, many class and system changes will come with the patch, and the season brings a new raid and mythic+ dungeon pool
WoW Classic
Quiet in Cataclysm Classic. The word is the pre-patch for Mists of Pandaria classic will drop before July 31 and full release before August 31.
Still some action in the 20th anniversary classic. @redrum is nudging me to run dungeons with a group (Horde side). AIE guild exists on DreamScythe Horde side. I am also working on
Hardcore solo self-found on the 20th anniversary Doomhowl server and publishing my progress via my YT channel.
The raid team stopped playing cata classic last summer, it looks like there’s still a handful of players logging in though
The final cata raid Dragon Soul was released yesterday, and heroic was cleared in an hour by the world first team
Season of Discovery is in Phase 7. We had folks in there in early phases but no recent participation. Brand new content like Karazhan Crypts (5-person) and upcoming Scarlet Enclave Raid. Apparently catch-up mechanics are good so perhaps some of us may jump back in to check it out.
SWTOR

Kraemer will be hosting the next ToT tournament which will run from 02/24 – 03/31. The prizes include houses from the crown store and piles of gold. Let Kraemer know if you’d like to join in the fun.
From Kraemer – Greetings to all our Elder Scrolls Online players! We are about to host our 6th Tales of Tribute guild only tournament, and you may wish to play after seeing the prize list this time. In order to participate you need to have the high isle chapter and the ability to play the game tales of tribute if you need help getting the start quest done please ask for help and one of us will be happy to help, The tournament will run the last week of February until the end of March from Feb 24th till Mar 31 the number of games per week will be determined after we see how many sign up.:

FFXIV
Multiple events getting ready to start in game to prepare for the big 7.2 patch. The moogle tome event which gets you trial mounts, emotes, and glam items starts 2/26 and will run until the patch. Little ladies day starts on Mar 3 and will run for two weeks, featuring a new glam outfit.
The patch itself which contains a new 8-man raid tier, a new “Exploration Zone” for crafters and gatherers to build outposts (in space!), and the start of the endgame Dawntrail relic weapons, will be releasing at the end of March, with a final date TBA in the next live letter. At said live letter we will also be receiving new information on Dawntrail’s take at Bozja/Eureka- the Occult Crescent.
STO

The Lord of the Rings Online is excited to announce that four new 64-bit servers will make their debut on March 5th, 2025!

Here are the details:
Monday, March 3rd 12:00 PM Eastern (-5 GMT): VIP subscribers will be able to log into the game world to access the character creation screen on their destination world and secure up to three names per 64-bit world of their choice. VIPs will not be able to log into the game world to play, or be able to transfer their existing characters, but they can create characters with their desired names and then later rename their transferred character to their preferred name after deleting the placeholder character.
Tuesday, March 4th 12:00 PM Eastern (-5 GMT): Free transfers from 32-bit to 64-bit worlds will be available to all players. The new game worlds themselves will remain closed, but the transfer tool will be enabled to allow for transfers to these worlds.
Wednesday, March 5th 1:00 PM Eastern (-5 GMT): Our new game worlds open! Free transfers from 32-bit to 64-bit game worlds will continue through August 31st, 2025. Free transfers between the new 64 bit worlds will operate on a rotating weekly basis and continue through April 30th 2025.
Wednesday, March 12th: We will begin offering free transfers from many previously-closed game worlds to these new 64-bit worlds. See our table in the FAQ for specific server order and timing on LOTRO.com. After this final transfer period these previously-closed worlds will be permanently closed, and no future character transfers will be possible.

In New World, we run group content on Sunday nights. We are working through the expeditions (dungeons) with an eye toward The Hive of Gorgons (raid). Find us on Hudsonland for a fresh start and the legacy server Valhalla.
WoW
In WoW news, the Battle Royale game Plunderstorm is back, with new pets, a new mount – the Plunderlord’s Midnight Crocolisk, and transmog including the Swabbie’s Shovel and Oar. You can also purchase Trader’s Tender if you haven’t maxed that out yet, or use it for next month. There’s also a back appearance – Coward’s Azure Target – available until Feb 4 for watching a WoW Twitch stream.
The Turbulent Timeways timewalking event is ongoing and great for alts. This week the quest is for 5 Warlords of Draenor dungeons and next week we’ll head to Legion.
Coming soon (TM) Will be the Undermine(d) patch, where we visit the massive underground Goblin capital to learn Gallywix is helping Xal’atath with an important project (and it’s not a mani-pedi).
Among the features are a customizable, super fast car mount (flying is not available), a quest that awards a rental apartment – which looks like it has bank access, a new dungeon: Operation Floodgate, two new delves with an associated customizable mount: the Gobtrotter. Bran can also now tank, so we can tell him “Don’t stand there!” for a change.
And in the new Raid – Liberation of Undermine, we help the various goblin cartels unseat Chrome King Gallywix. Grats to Rogues on their very cool pirate themed Tier set.
WoW Classic
Classic Refresh has some AIE and Lars is in there, Classic Cata has tapered off
SWTOR
MFN goes well with a few other event nights a week. Running on two servers, pvp nights, etc. All sorcerer Ops night events are coming up too. New and returning players still.
Wed ops team needs fill-ins
ESO
ESO MFN is back from winter break. We’ve been working on trials and helping each other with endeavors while hanging out and chatting.
FFXIV
We’re in a bit of between patches lull in content, the new custom delivery NPC and Chaotic Alliance Raid were released Christmas Eve, and we’re looking at the next Live Letter sometime in late Feb/ early March, so our next major patch is looking to be late march/early April.
That patch will include the next tier in the Arcadian 8 man raid series, and the live letter should have more details about the upcoming Disciple of the Hand/Land exploration zone and the battle exploration zone.
We are still attempting to do treasure maps on Saturday nights in the meantime.
STO
Fleet Action Report is a video podcast run by AIE personnel on Thursdays at 10pm Eastern. Our show is dedicated to teaching others how to play STO. We feature build videos for both ground and space, show off new ships, and explain other aspects of sto. We also invite you to ask questions during the show so we can answer them live!
AIE Classes and/or Honoris run a Fleet Fun Night on Mondays at 10pm Eastern. These events are live streamed so you can join the fun even if you’re not able to join us in-game. These nights are for you! Need help with a mission or build? Want a team of players you know to run TFOs with? Need help working out your first or 300th build? That’s what we’re here for!
The giveaway on PC has been moved to Jan. 21st to 26th and there is a bonus Marks “weekend” until then.
We do know there is a patch coming this Tuesday to fix the Trait/Loadout bug, and we’re hoping to get more information about the next event then. Consoles are currently experiencing their The Feast event, and it lasts until February 5th.
GW2
The next festival event in the GW2 calendar is the Canthan (Lunar) New Year. The dates have not yet been announced, however it should be soon as the actual Lunar New Year starts on Jan 29th this year.
LOTRO
64 bit servers, end of this month or so, guild/kinship will move to Peregrin, VIP will have first shot at new names, there might be some things that individuals need to do (like logging in). Dux will be handling moving the guild and house.
And with that, let’s get back to us and find out what’s going on in community activities.
GAME NEWS
With a lot of MMO’s slowing down content releases or releasing smaller patches, the need to always be logged on and grinding something has lessened, which leaves more time for other activities (there’s so much room for activities!).
Do you feel this means the guild/community have to take on more of a role of keeping people engaged than they otherwise would be or should we rely on the game systems to keep people engaged?

Dankinia is leading the Noob Raid after a short winter break. Thank you again Celindre for stepping in and leading the group to its first full clear in my absence. Since Dankinia’s return, we’ve cleared it 2 more times and the Floor Tank counter for the year is already at 6.
WoW Classic
There are a handful of folks still playing on the fresh servers, last time I checked there is nobody at 60 yet.
SWTOR
Snowball cannons have been put away and keybinds have been reset to blasters and lightsabers. Mostly. Also, Warzone Wednesdays have returned for the new pvp season. Dynamic encounters are providing a quick-hit way to work toward achievements and Conquest targets. 2025 has started!
ESO
ESO MFN is back from winter break. We’ve been working on trials and helping each other with endeavors while hanging out and chatting.
STO
A new year and the game’s anniversary is coming. The event typically is at the end of this month or very beginning of February.
They just released a new Sol System map with the updated ESD exterior as it was shown in Season 3 of Picard. Unfortunately with the patch that brought in the new art, there have been several bugs. From loadouts dropping, traits unloading, and even for some people equipment being unequipped. They are aware of the issues and hopefully have this all resolved soon(tm).
FFXIV
We’re in a bit of an inbetween patch lull in content, the new custom delivery NPC and Chaotic Alliance Raid were released Christmas Eve, and we’re looking at the next Live Letter sometime in late Feb/ early March, so our next major patch is looking to be late march/early April.
That patch will include the next tier in the Arcadian 8 man raid series, and the live letter should have more details about the upcoming Disciple of the Hand/Land exploration zone and the battle exploration zone.
We are still attempting to do treasure maps on Saturday nights in the meantime.

A guildmate has requested maybe doing a Guild event next Friday to run Strike Mission: Kainang Overlook.
LOTRO
Some exciting things on the horizon for lotro. Orion did release a letter in December to show us what they have planned for each quarter in 2025. The first look at update 43 is hitting Bullroarer (pts) hopefully this week. The current legendary rewards track has 1 month remaining. New 64 bit servers are arriving soon. These will be open to all players. These servers will see the culmination of the 2 years of work the devs have put into fighting the lag boss. Standing Stone Games hopes to have these new servers open sometime in February, but no later than March. While we wait for all this, we will still be running some delvings and other instances at lvl cap and running stuff at the other lvl ranges.

We are locked in battle this week for the planet of Taris in Total Galactic War. So far we have the lead by a margin that keeps fluctuating, so no predictions yet. Guildies, both grouped and solo are contributing this week to our total point score by questing, crafting, dungeons, raids, and pvp. Everything counts. Through passion we gain strength; through strength, power; through power, victory. And through victory we get to have our guild name announced on the planet of Taris every time anyone goes there.
Next week, the annual Life Day event starts and on Tuesday night we will be celebrating our efforts in TGW as well throwing a healthy number of snowballs.

ESO MFN is on winter break until Jan 3rd 2025, but feel free to group up for holiday events in Kini’s absence.

7.1 has arrived! With it, new story content, pvp rebalance, end game raid content, and a Return to Vana’diel FF11 inspired alliance raid, which contains some of the best mid-core fights the game has ever had!
Treasure Maps also got a huge expansion of potential loot including new glamour weapons, hairstyles, facewear and more. Come join FFXIV for Map Night at 9:30 eastern every Saturday to join in on the fun! We are now doing low-level maps in addition so if you’re not level capped, you can join in! Q’s Winter Wonderland is in full swing! This year, the grand prize is the Eleos Intel Scout Ship. The civilan version of this vessel was shown in Star Trek Picard season 3. This is a quick and nimble science ship with Intel seating.
The Obena Class starship has been added to the Infinity Lockbox! This is a ship originally featured in Star Trek Lower Decks. This is a Miracle Worker heavy cruiser, featuring a robust hull and an extra universal console slot.
Fleet Action Report is a video podcast ran by AIE personnel on Thursdays at 10pm Eastern. Our show is dedicated to teaching others how to play STO. We feature build videos for both ground and space, show off new ships, and explain other aspects of sto. We also invite you to ask questions during the show so we can answer them live!

Moria has opened up on the Angmar and Mordor servers. That means you can now get legendaries on those servers and more importantly skirmishes are now available. December sales have started with some great deals for this week. Lastly, travel to Frostbluff is opening this week with the Yuletide festival arriving on the 12th.

We now have a fresh start company (Covenant) in New World on Hudsonland. We are enjoying all the improvements they’ve made lately. We are also on the legacy server Valhalla.

Noob Raid is 7/8 in normal Nerubn-ar Palace. Not bad at all for a bunch of Noobs lead by a professional floor tank.

Fresh start servers are coming up in Classic
SWTOR
The guild is still doing MFN on Tuesday nights at 9pm EST. We are helping everyone get their Galactic Season objectives done. Still have a couple months to finish everything up. The Public Test Server (PTS) is up with content from the next patch 7.6 on it. One of the things being tested are dynamic events, which are like world quests in other games. A new single boss operation is being tested also. Lords of Light has taken it down, but there are some different mechanics that are not working correctly right now. Should be fun when it’s in the live game. There are rewards for doing 100 dynamic events and a title for defeating the operation boss. Keep an eye out for groups getting together on the PTS if you want to finish those rewards up.
We have four operations (raid) teams that are running different things. Check in the SWTOR channel in discord for when spots are open and subs are needed. There are a couple teams that have some regular spots open. Join up if you want to see some different content in Star Wars: The Old Republic.
FFXIV
New patch is out, more MSQ, more Alliance Raid, and you can combine level 1 outfits in the glamour dresser so they only take up one slot instead of many.
Also, update your adventure plates!

We’ve been attempting some new-to-us trials, with varying degrees of success.
Kraemer has all of the mundus stones and crafting stations currently available at his primary residence. Feel free to stop by to use them if you need to.
GW2
Extra Life event running until the 19th. Take your toon into Lion’s Arch. where it will give you a bunch of Karma kegs. Buy Extra Life sponsoring goodies from the gem store, get more prizes, and the money goes to the Extra Life charity via the GW2/Arenanet team. The Extra Life karma boosters are good for getting maximum value from the Orphan Run daily during the upcoming WIntersday. Do both go to LA and buy, and it will give you a couple of Victory Caches.
Wintersday event is starting on Dec 10th, running for 3 weeks (as usual). This is the event for stacking up karma, so make sure you have karma boosting food/utilities/etc. stacked up. The Karma page on the GW2 wiki gives a list of all the boosters.

There are at least 2 dungeons and dragon ongoing campaigns currently one being run be Dproberts on some sundays and the other by Kraemer29 on saturdays we next meet on october 26th for both scheduling we both have to deal with the epic IRL monster
Diablo IV – Vessel of Hatred launches on October 7th at 4 pm PDT with a new class, the Spiritborn, a reduction in base top level to 50, growing to 60 with the expansion, along with a multitude of new difficulty levels, and story.
WoW
Noob Raid resumed last week and since cross-faction LFR isn’t a thing, decided to make an attempt at Normal difficulty. They managed the first boss, but still needed a lot of practice for the second one. Next week is time walking so they will be making another attempt at getting rare mounts with a full clear of Ulduar.
WoW Classic
With the launch of Season of Discovery Phase 5 on Thursday, September 26 at 22:00 CEST, Blackwing Lair will become available. Blackwing Lair is tuned and intended for ~20 players but the instance is capped at a maximum of 40 players. Blackwing Lair is on a 7-day raid reset timer.
Zul’Gurub is tuned and intended for ~10 players, but the instance is capped at a maximum of 20 players. Zul’Gurub is on a twice-weekly raid reset timer.
New Raid: The Crystal Vale
Prince Thunderaan the Windseeker has broken free from his prison with the release of Phase 5 and will be available to all players as a newly reimagined raid encounter. Thunderaan is tuned and intended for ~20 players but the instance is capped at a maximum of 40 players. The Crystal Vale is on a twice-weekly reset timer.
Old Raid: The Molten Core
Available with weekly resets starting on September 24th, The Molten Core will become available to raid with an instance capped at a maximum of 40 players. It will remain tuned for 20 players.
SWTOR
We continue to work through Galactic Season 7, which has been extended 6 weeks. If you need help with the larger group objectives, join us on Tuesdays and/or Fridays. We’re looking forward to another Broadsword livestream this fall as they let us know what’s coming up.
ESO
We’ve been working on dailies as a group to earn event tickets for the current in-game event and watching as Dankinia jumps/falls off cliffs on the way to our objectives.

The entire Galaxy is going to Red Alert! From October 10th at 8am PT to October 17th at 12pm PT on Xbox and PlayStation, all of our Red Alert events will be returning at once, as the Final Frontier is caught in a massive invasion on all sides. During this event, you’ll be able to play the following content:

Tzenkethi Red Alert*
Nakuhl Red Alert
*Please note: As the only Red Alert with a fail condition, the Tzenkethi Red Alert will not grant daily bonus progress if you fail the TFO. The fail condition will likely be removed in future runs of this event.

Aside from the main scenario, a variety of sidequests will also be added, including:
Allied Society Quests featuring the Pelupelu; they will have daily quests you can utilize to level combat jobs from 90-100.
A new Custom Deliveries client: Nitowikwe, who was encountered in the Dawntrail main scenario traveling through Shaaloani.
A capstone Role Quest for players who completed all Dawntrail role quests for combat jobs.
A capstone quest for Wachumeqimeqi Deliveries for players who completed all the crafting and gathering quests.
Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures, where Nashu Mhakaracca seems to have found herself in Solution Nine.

Diablo 4’s first expansion, Vessel of Hatred, launches October 8. We’ll journey to the jungles of Nahantu to track down Mephisto, with access to a new Spiritborn class and Mercenaries to fight alongside us. The expansion will also introduce the Dark Citadel (a four player raid), and the Kurast Undercity (a time attack dungeon).
Season 6 also starts on October 8, with a revamped leveling experience, D4’s take on runewords, new endgame activities, and a group finder.

No Man Sky just launched a new update – Aquarius – Fishing!
WoW
In Wow Retail, players were able to unlock Earthen as an Allied Race following a campaign update this week. The cinematics are glorious!
In a coming patch, Drak’thyr will be playable as six additional classes: Hunter, Warlock, Mage, Warrior, Rogue and Priest, with shadow priests getting some cool visuals for their wings.
The first Raid of War Within – Nerub-ar Palace – opens September 10 and Queen Ansurak has much to answer for.
Blizzard also announced plans for WoW’s 20th Anniversary, an event so massive that it’s going to run through November and December.
Features include a revamped Blackrock Depths raid/dungeon, Timewalking for Deadmines, Dire Maul (both sides), and Stratholme (also both sides). There will also be timey-wimey stuff with Chromie at the Caverns of Time, PvP fun in Alterac Valley, and special Warcraft 3 flavored items at the Trading Post.
Among notable loot, there will be a new mount: Coldflame Tempest – a blue version of Ashes of Al’ar, baby Doom Lord battle pets, and an updated Appearance for the Iconic Tier 2 armor sets. Paladins are rejoicing (YEAH!) and Gustyail can’t wait for a new set of goofy moose antlers. Death Knights, Demon Hunters, Monks and Evokers will get brand new sets, since they were not around way back then.
Raids and mythic 0s are opening with this coming reset. Mythic plus the following reset.
There will be timewalking Zul’farrak as well.

Got my first Sinestra kill, so only 2 hard modes (Nefarian and Council) remain and I doubt we’ll ever do Council HM. Still making good gold running a gDKP on Saturdays, so good time in game overall, even if I’m not sure of attendance with Firelands and the rest of the expansion, as most players will skip the rest until Mists of Pandaria,

The next Letter from the Producer LIVE Part LXXXIII (83) Set for September 28! This is the first live letter that will debut some of what will come with Patch 7.1. A new set of updates to the Graphical Update have also been announced, but most of the changes are incredibly subtle and difficult to read over a podcast, so check out the lodestone if you’re interested!

Star Trek Day was Sept 8th! To celebrate, STO is running a special event until the 20th! At Earth and DS9 you can visit all the starring ships from Star Trek movies and television. Hailing all 10 ships will grant a special title!
The Flagship Celebration event has 4 days left! If you’ve not completed the event yet, you might still have time. If not, you could reduce the buyout price a bit if you desire!
The Galaxy goes to Red Alert starting Thursday, Sept 12th for 1 week. Participating for 5 days earns one an Ultimate Tech Upgrade and a Specialization Point!

There is big stuff on the horizon for lotro. Over the next 5 weeks, a casual stroll on Wednesday afternoon will be giving a sneak peek at the new landscapes in the upcoming expansion “Legacy of Morgoth”. Also, the starting area “Before the Shadow” is now available to everyone with a coupon code for 2 free steads. The code for the steads is GALADRIELSGIFT. The new instance “Dragon and the Storm” is now on the live servers. This too has a coupon code for a free green dragon portrait frame and a golden drakeling pet by using the code SMAUGSSPOILS. Be advised that both codes are 1/ account so use it wisely.

There have been a few updates in the last few months.
7.5 and 7.5.1 have been released.
7.5 had the next part of the story and ended on a bit of a cliff hanger. Interested to see where it goes from here. Might be some good surprises coming for us.
7.5.1 launched the next Galactic Season The Greatest Bounty. Bounty Contract week is active while the Season is going on. No new companion again which is good. Also no rep except the one that is for the Bounty Brokers Association.
DvL bosses have returned to the game. Only the ones that are needed for the weekly objectives. Can be tough, but with enough people it can be a bit easier. This is something that we have been focusing on for MFN.
Only the first 16 in a group get drops from the boss for some reason. Tokens are currently per character, but will be legacy wide once the patch goes in on 10 Sept. Vendors for those tokens have some new items that are legacy bound, but old stuff has restrictions. Shared tagging works, but is restricted to the same faction.
A new set of Date Night with Vette and Aric Jorgan. Timothy Omundson returns to voice Aric Jorgan.
Twitch drops (going until 9/16) – speeder

Just a note before we get too far into the show. As you may or may not know, AIE lost one of our greats on August 16th. Our dear friend, guildmate, fellow member of FERT, creator of Overly Dramatic news, and podcast co-host, James “Acuzod” Jefferies lost his battle with cancer. He was loved by so many and made all of us who knew him just a little better. He is survived by his amazing wife Jodi, their kids, Jennifer, Kimberly, and Sami, and grandson Nathan. Zod will be remembered for his humor and his kindness, and his voice will live in this podcast, as it is his voice you hear on all of the bumpers! Oh, and if you see Acuzod online, it is his grandson, Nathan, playing on his Papa’s account.

Noob Raid is officially on break due to the new expansion. It will resume mid to late September.
It’s pretty quiet in WoW right now. Just kidding! New expansion The War Within officially launches tomorrow (Aug 26) but players who bought the Epic Edition have had access since Thursday and many are already level 80. It’s doable in about 3 hours if you can ignore side quests (i.e. not Gustyail) and we ask that everyone resist the urge to discuss major plot twists – and there are some doozies – in Guild chat.
In War Within, we meet the Earthen, Dwarves who will be an Allied Race, and the Arathi, a group of mainly Humans and Elves who were accidentally stranded in Hallowfall on what was supposed to be a 3-hour tour. (Wait? Did I get that right?)
There are 36 new mounts to obtain, including a lynx, fire bees, a giant mole and several mech suits. Some require rep, and the Darkmoon Faire starting next Sunday will help with that and has profession quests as well.
To help carry all the new quest items and loot, there are two free 34-slot bags available. Break the Kaja Cola Machine at the Inn in the Ringing Deeps (59.0, 64.3) to get a Goblin Mini Fridge. (WoWhead has details.) The Windswept Satchel can be found in Hallowfall at 30.2, 38.8 on a ledge at the Priory of the Sacred Flame.
SWTOR
As Max’s retirement, in real life, has gotten busy, Corley has been promoted to GM/Game Director for AIE in SWTOR. Congradudolences!
The SUP ops team has an opening for a full time spot. We run from 8-10 pm (Max time) on Wednesday nights. We mainly run story mode ops on the imp side. We are very new to ops friendly. If you are interested, let Maellung know, please.
A couple things to add: Swtor is having its first ever twitch drop event. For four hours of watching swtor streamers, you get a Orlean Voidstream Mount. A number of guildies have already gotten it, so if you need any help making it happen, just post in discord.
Also, Galactic Seasons 7 has begun and brings with it a nice rotation of returning World Bosses that we have not had the opportunity to kill in a long time. Join us on Tuesday nights for MFN where we will be taking them down.

In order to implement Patch 7.05 HotFixes and to conduct maintenance on the infrastructure, maintenance will take place on all Worlds at the time below, during which FINAL FANTASY XIV will be unavailable. Aug. 26, 2024 8:00 p.m. to Aug. 27, 2024 3:00 a.m. (PDT)
As for The Rising seasonal event set to start the same day, it will begin once maintenance has concluded.

There are 8 days left to speed level fresh alts to 70 with Pandaria Remix. Thanks to those who have been doing Guild carry runs (including Nagratz during Summer of Love). New event Radiant Echoes in Dalaran helps level current alts and get gear, transmog, pets and a mount (two really, because you get one for each faction).
And the new expansion War Within arrives Aug 26. Early access starts Aug 22.

Just a reminder that Map nights are on Saturday’s at 9:30 Eastern and right now are requiring that you be level 100 and have flying unlocked in all the Dawntrail zones.
Patch 7.0.8 should be coming out sometime this month or early next month, but nothing yet on what it entails, but it may be a tuning and bug fix patch.

The entire Galaxy is going to Red Alert! From August 15th at 8am PT to August 22nd at 12pm PT on all platforms, all of our Red Alert events will be returning at once, as the Final Frontier is caught in a massive invasion on all sides. During this event, you’ll be able to play the following content:
