A big greeting my dear talented friends of the #JammingZone. It is a privilege to be sharing with you once again, my greetings and my respects to all those friends who are active giving it in the #JammingZone. And well, as always, with a lot of love and dedication I come to share my entry with you. On this occasion I am going to present you a "Blues Guitar Improvisation" in the scale of D - G - A. It is the first time that I do a blues, and in improvisation. As I have already mentioned several times that although my forte is the instrumental part, in fact it is not improvisation. And the truth is that I was practicing it a little for a couple of days, since although in other improvisations I have used blues techniques and although this base was in fact very basic, I had never played one fully as such which involves a lot of change of rhythm. Without realizing it, I got stuck in the improvisation and ended up making a super long video, and it was the first take I did, I really wasn't going to be able to make another one since I had left all my energy at the moment there. I really put effort into this haha. But in the end I realized that some parts sounded very repetitive, so I decided to edit the audio in a way that simulated "Change of microphones" on the guitar haha and at the same time playing with the visual part trying to generate a sensation according to the sound. That's really how I felt while recording each part haha

  • Hive Music Festival Week 100 | Me rehúso - Danny Ocean - Cover by @alejandrorigo

    ![HMF 100.PNG](https://images.hive.blog/DQmVDrSWVGuK5kv4XCbixvED9eGQS1Y4zzd2jLN6GyMoqir/HMF%20100.PNG)
Good morning, afternoon and evening dear talented friends of the Hive Music Festival. I haven't participated in this contest in a long time, since I usually always go to the Jamming Zone, this being, let's say, my musical forte. But I really wanted to make this small version of this song, which despite being a practically new song, feels like it is already a contemporary classic of urban music, not only Venezuelan, but at least Latin American in general. I think that today there are many Venezuelans who identify with this piece, and I must confess, at the time I was one. As is already evident, this piece is Me rehúso composed and written by the Venezuelan singer Danny Ocean, released in 2016, in a context where the country was (is currently even worse) in a serious political situation which caused a mass exile, forcing within it to separate families, couples, friends, or simply to separate Venezuelans from their country.
I've been wanting to do this cover for a long time, but it's really a song with a very demanding vocal, not only because of Danny Ocean's reggae-style voice, but because of its very high pitch. I was really practicing it a lot for several days to be able to master the rhythm and get into the tone...and just to record a little bit of the song. And the truth is that it turned out better than I expected, although it doesn't really do justice to what the original song is haha. But I have really enjoyed this humble work and of course I share it with all the affection with my talented colleagues here in the community. My niece Isabella was accompanying me during the recording, so at the end of the video I told her to come say goodbye. And well, I hope you like it and touch your heart. A big hug and blessings for everyone.

    Ba-ba-babylon girl
    Ba-ba-babylon girl
    Para todos aquellos amores que
Que fueron obligados a ser separados
    Ba-ba-babylon girl
    Ba-ba-babylon girl
    Baby, no (baby, no)
    Solo quiero estar contigo, woh
Si no te tengo aquí conmigo yo no quiero ser tu amigo
Porque tú eres mi camino, woh
Y yo solo quiero estar junto a ti
    Nena, por favor entiéndelo
Solo dame tu mano y confía en mí
Si te pierdes sólo sigue mi voz
    Y dale tiempo (tiempo)
    Mami, al tiempo (tiempo)
    Que tú, que yo
Estamos hechos para estar los dos
    Y dale tiempo (tiempo)
    Baby, al tiempo (tiempo)
Que tú y yo, que tú y yo
Estamos hechos para estar los dos
    Baby, no (baby, no)

Tell me, how do I explain to my destiny that you are no longer there?
Tell me, how will I get rid of this frenzy?
This madness that I feel for you
With this chemistry that you make in me
    And I can't anymore, girl
    I can't anymore, girl
Baby, excuse me and if I got you excited
I didn't want to do it
I know in love when it's real
that one comes back, comes back (comes back, comes back)
But how can you forget your skin?
And how can I forget you woman
    I can't anymore, girl
    I can't anymore, girl
    Baby, no (baby, no)
I refuse to give you one last kiss, so save it (save it)
So that next time I give it to you by doing it (doing it)
Doing it like this, like this, like this
Just the way you like it, baby
Without looking back, without looking for anyone else
I just want to be with you, woh
If I don't have you here with me I don't want to be your friend
Because you are my way, woh
And I just want to be with you
    Baby please understand
Just give me your hand and trust me
If you get lost just follow my voice

  • Jamming Zone Week 26 | Guitar Improvisation on "Balad Track (Dminor)" by @alejandrorigo
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=alejandrorigo/giowivbk
    ![JAMMIN ZONE 26.PNG](https://images.hive.blog/DQmPyuuv8ucFy7F1RTfrzxjyE2ncyNxdhGz5jCJhVeerjKX/JAMMIN%20ZONE%2026.PNG)
Good morning, afternoon and evening my dear talented friends, melody makers in the #JammingZone. Back here for week 26 with this particular look; It's because I washed my hair and while I was waiting for it to dry it occurred to me to record the **JM** which I had pending since its update a couple of days ago. So I couldn't contain myself and I started everything.
For this occasion I am going to do an improvisation on a track of a somewhat romantic ballad, a little sensual I would say... which is based on the D minor scale. I have noticed that my latest participations have been a bit repetitive in terms of style, more or less always something similar to a soft and slow style with quite relaxed guitar picks. So this time I wanted to do something different in terms of the sound of the guitar. Adds distortion with a lot of processes on top; I have used a *multiband compressor* to give life to the brightness, a *tube amp simulator* with serious distortion, the effect is a mix between *flanger* and *vibrato*, in addition to the respective *reverbs*, I don't remember if you add *echo* too xD. I actually got very excited and was more saturated than I expected, so I had to level the volumes....but I really liked the way the *bends* sound. The base of the track is in D minor, I really couldn't distinguish its harmonic circle well, but I suppose that there is an A minor and perhaps a B. The techniques I have used are classic; bends, pentatonic scales and a bit of chromatics, weep picks (although not complete), ligatures, I also tried some tapping but it was almost impossible to make them sound on this acoustic guitar and especially with the tons of effects on top, these types of techniques are They handle perfectly on the electric guitar and even on some acoustic guitars with a very flat neck like the *Ibanez* or *Fender* for example.
And well, as in my previous publications, I want to invite those fellow musicians who are always active here on the platform, most of them are guitarists, some are pianists, the truth is that they are very good musicians and it would be very cool to see them interacting on this great initiative. Without further ado, I hope you like my entry. A big hug and may God bless this community.

  • Jamming Zone Week 24 | Jamming "Guitar-Tap - Delay" in D-A-Em - by @alejandrorigo

    ![jamming zone 24.PNG](https://images.hive.blog/DQmRs8tNWLZMc226w6ZJ7vkRPmTV5gScfQLJyonit5V6ein/jamming%20zone%2024.PNG)
Saludos y bendiciones
My friends, as I already mentioned in the video, I feel very grateful and honored for having been chosen as one of this week's winners along with friend David, who did an extraordinary job with that jazz loop on that pedalboard. Taking into account that there were several valuable and talented entries, it is really something honorable for me.
I feel like time is moving fast and seeing that the week is already active I don't want to waste time and make my entry at once. For my participation this week I came up with the idea of using the delay resource. It is an effect that I totally love and that I have always used, I even used it as a resource in my old rock band to make "space" type arrangements. And it really is an effect that brings a lot of magic, especially if you learn to play well with its timing. I recently discovered a great guitarist called *Estas Tones*, who recommended him to me and a great musician from #Hive el pana Oswaldo, greetings, pana. And I realized that this guitarist used this resource a lot in a splendid way. So I wanted to do something more or less in that style, I remembered that there were some exercises with chromatic scales with the delay to practice the rhythm of the songs, and well I wanted to do something similar to this exercise which without realizing it ended up sounding like something medieval . . For this style of jamming I relied on a D major in exchange with G major and E minor. Use a couple of techniques including tap, letting the chord fall like a rain, pulling the chord in a swept style but broken down and slower and with slurs.
Well my friends, as always, a great pleasure, again I say goodbye for now, see you soon and again Thank you, Thank you and Thank you. Greetings and blessings

  • Jamming Zone Week 23 | Jamming improvisation on Deep Lo-Fi in E minor - by @alejandrorigo

    ![JAMMING ZONE 23.PNG](https://images.hive.blog/DQmecSVgkj5s4D9pFVuwAK6J3VA5Zi2CJE3ckWHFYYcJJmX/JAMMING%20ZONE%2023.PNG)
Saludos y bendiciones

Greetings dear friends of the #JammingZone. I hope you are very, very well. This week I come to do my presentation with a real jamming, improvising with the guitar on a Deep Lo-Fi track, I think they are my favorites. For this occasion I'm using a deep lo-fi track in E minor. As I always do, at least the way I like, using the acoustic guitar and processing its audio to add some effects to make it sound like an electric guitar or failing that, make it sound as if it were amplified. On this occasion he used a fusion of flanger with chorus wrapped in an echo and a mix of reverbs...a whole cocktail of effects. Even though it wasn't my best musical interaction in the improvisation, I really like how these effects form the perfect environment for the sound of the track.
I am very grateful to those guys who sometimes go through my posts and leave their comments, I really appreciate it although sometimes I hardly have time to even enter Hive to enjoy the talent of other users. But whenever I can, I at least leave my vote for those posts. It's great to see how this contest continues and grows... it really feels like something familiar when I go to review the community and see different entries from the Jamming Zone, and numerous ones at that, it's motivating, just like today. I really wasn't planning to record today but seeing that the week was already active and several artists had already made their presentations, I didn't want to waste time and taking advantage of the fact that I have this day completely available, I got to work on this activity.
I say goodbye for now and I would like to encourage those musician users who play instruments (pardon the redundancy), and who make different participations in other contests, even singing.....To come and make their presentation in the #JammingZone, it would be very That's very cool since they are talented artists, specifically thinking of some, and it would be brutal to see their skill flow organically here. This would also help the community grow more and give it more peak. Greetings and blessings

  • Jamming Zone Week 22 | The beautiful People - Marylin Manson - Guitarcover by @alejandrorigo
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=alejandrorigo/nixwgucs
My dear #JammingZone friends, it is a pleasure to greet you again and share my entry for this week in this great contest. I had a long time without participating because I have been a little busy with work there. But I really wanted to record this guitar cover and this had to be the perfect occasion. Although it is not jamming as such, it is a song composed with riffs and so on, but let's say I make a groove. Also, the way I had to record this, that was improvisation, starting because I don't have headphones and the monitoring was difficult, I had to put the track playing in the background with low volume so that a lot of noise wouldn't come in when I had to edit the guitar audio, and I could barely hear it and keep up with the rhythm. I had to record it many times because there was always an incident; First it turns out that I was recording with the wrong microphone, then it turns out that the video was being recorded without audio, until in the end it was able to come out, although with a couple of errors with the tempo in a couple of phrases, but it was the best take I ever had. I was able to get out, I was already very sweaty and my pulse was tired, since playing bars on an electric guitar is not the same as playing on an acoustic one.
Regarding the song, I think many of us already know it; **"The Beautiful People**" by the great iconic and controversial **Marilyn Manson**. This powerful song with simple but technically well-structured riffs, as well as its unmistakable drums, which is a signature in this song...it reminds me a lot of the good times of MTV, that was the first time I saw and heard Marylin Manson . , until that moment I had only seen it in albums of cards. And I was quite shocked to see his performance since he really did look like an antichrist LOL (that's what they said about him back then). To be honest, I didn't like it very much from the beginning, it was a taste that I acquired as time went by. And today I couldn't even imagine making this guitar cover, even when I was in Hive, but well, sooner rather than later, that idea still came to my mind, and I had already been listening to it for several days and learning it well, since as I mentioned... It is a simple song but with its technical things that are key to the fluidity of the song's sound.

  • Hive Music Festival Week #89 - Round 2 | In connection with VibesWeb3 theme - MI AMOR guitar groovy

    ![MIAMOR.PNG](https://images.hive.blog/DQmNRPb3DTfdCU7D8tL4TgzS5SiVh6FmbtPT83knyifJzNt/MIAMOR.PNG)
How about my dear friends from #MusicZone. Wherever you are, whatever you are doing...I hope you are doing well. This is my entry for the #HiveMusicFestival in its Week 89 - Round 2 and I would like to do it in a very peculiar way. You see, this is a little surprise. I think all of us who participate in this community also know about #VibesWeb3, and we know that this week there was a topic about the discography of the artist DJ/producer **Sam Feldt**. I didn't pay my attention to the topic since I was focused on another version that I had been working on for days... which I couldn't even carry out because the guitar string had broken and which in fact still I have not been able to replace it and obviously I have also made this guitar version without that string...and then I ended up making another version, but that is another story. What I want to tell you is that I started to see wonderful and great entries from other colleagues with very creative ideas and with a display of great skill in talent, and I was very surprised by that magic...So I finally understood that it was about making an arrangement to some of the songs from Sam Feldt's new discography....and one of the songs that I have listened to the most and I have listened to it so much that now I like it was this one; **MY LOVE**. And I liked it so much that it made me want to make my own guitar...so, without further ado, here I show you this humble work that I have done today. I produced the arrangements last night and I was practicing them so today I recorded them in one go. And as always, *Adobe Audition* helping me with the magic of guitar enhancement and effects. And well, nothing, I hope you like it, greetings to those brothers who participate in the #JammingZone, this participation could also apply there... since I haven't had much time to interact in #Hive, but I'll be active soon. a big hug
By the way, I want to thank those guys who commented on my last post, maybe you don't see this post but I still want you to know that I am very grateful for your appreciation, pure beautiful and talented people. I don't want to tag them so they don't think that I want to force them to watch my video hahaha but thank you thank you and thank you my girls. Although I would like to force @verbal-d to listen to this for a couple of minutes... Thank you very much for your always support and your great work in the community my lord, greetings and a big hug.

    ### Jammin Zone Week 14: Guitar on Meditation º2 in (Gmajor7)
Hello my talented friends from this community and especially to the participants of #JammingZone in its 14th week. Once again I come to share with you an installment of this experiment that I have been trying called *"Guitar On Meditation"*. For this occasion I made a small G7 harmony...which would be; G7, C7, Am7 and E7. And at the end a small cycle of E7 and A7...I made a slower and more leisurely version and also added many arpeggios...and here this time I practiced a little deliberately, although in the end it was a total improvisation, but I had a more solid idea of what I was going to make flow. I think the ending was what I had "solidly" prepared the most, just two chords and the rhythm with an arpeggio"...just improvise with the vocal part. By the way, in this version I also wanted to do something different, which was to add some vocal choruses I don't know why I insist so much on wanting to use my voice as a musical resource, as if it were a great vocalist hahaha but honestly on this occasion, thanks to a lot of reverbs and Martian effects from *Adobe Audition* I was able to do some magic. again. A small curious fact that happened to me today was that a string on my guitar broke, the "My cousin" that is, the thinnest string *(That: **Curious and perhaps unnecessary fact** aside - For, in case there is someone who doesn't know - the guitar strings are counted from the bottom up, therefore the first string is the thinnest. It is called "cousin" just because it is the first)* and it happened just today when I I was ready to record the #JammingZone. I was about to throw in the towel when I remembered that the guy Julio was also in the same situation these days and he also got Rocknroll....so he decided to do the same and I flowed there as best I could. with. the melodies. Also the chair was making a lot of noise, I tried to avoid it as much as I could but it was inevitable.
This week I have found a lot of good quality content in this community, in both contests. There are some that I haven't commented on either because I don't really have much time to comment, but I still enjoy their content and I see them growing as artists and it really is something comforting to be there and share. A big hug and Rock+Roll.

  • Hive Music Festival Week #87 Round º3 | "Mi sol, mi norte" (Original) by @alejandrorigo

    ![HMF 87.PNG](https://images.hive.blog/DQmf145vZ7FMx95DtdudgrBDBewiGSxLVCnx2MzdrA33PkV/HMF%2087.PNG)
God bless you all.Rock+Roll
I start with this disaster; For a long time I had an inexplicable need to compose a song for my city, and moreover an inexplicable need to record this song at any cost, I don't have the professional resources, so one day I couldn't take it anymore and with the help of my condenser microphone and the magical *Adobe Audition* and of course my beautiful and inseparable guitar, I began to make that demo of a studio-type song, in fact I recorded 3 songs that I already had ready structurally, among them *Mi sol, mi norte* . As I have mentioned in other posts before, I am not very fluent in writing lyrics, so it was difficult for me to write a lyric that described Cumaná and that did not sound like a television spot. So the best thing I could think of was to write something as if it were dedicated to a woman, that is, referring to the city as if I were referring to a girl I wanted to conquer... it's like this: "The monument of your head to your feet"...refers to the allegorical symbolic monument to the founding of the city. And well, something like that... although I'm not very expert at writing about it, but this way I was able to flow a little better, although with basic lyrics, but it gave me the rhythm I needed. The perspective I gave to the song is that of someone who does not know these lands but has a great interest in knowing and exploring them. In fact, I wrote that based on myself, since there are many parts of the state of Sucre near Cumaná that I still don't know and I know that one day I will... and that's why I started the song that says "There is a place that I wanna". know".
And well, nothing, today I wanted to make this version let's say *live* to trip the contest and also to share it with you. I really liked this song, and since I had the recording track still saved, I decided to take advantage of it. There I attached the original version that I published on YouTube about 2 years ago, which was when I recorded that demo. I recommend that you listen to the YouTube version and the live version so that you can compare which one sounds worse hahaha, a big hug guys and thank you always. God bless you all.Rock+Roll

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wiz8zUZHu6g
    **Letra**
    Hay un lugar que yo
    Quiero conocer
    Es "El Monumento"
De tu cabeza a tus pies..
    Por eso..
    A donde yo voy
    Es a tu norte
    En cada rincón
    Te voy a descubrir
    (X2)
    **Coro **
    Cielo azúl, tierra fértil
    Es su mood auténtico
Su mar es placer pa` mi
Y a dónde está, yo voy..
    A dónde está, yo voy
    Porque suyo es mi corazón
En la cuna de este golfo
    A dónde...se esconde
    Yeehh
    Se vé en el horizonte..
Eres mi sol y mi norte
Y senda luna en la noche
    **Lyrics**
There is a place that I
    I want to meet
    It is "The Monument"
From your head to your feet...
    That's why..
    where I go
    It is to your north
    In every corner
    I'm going to discover you
    (X2)
    **Chorus**
    Blue sky, fertile land
    It's his authentic mood
Its sea is pleasure for me
And where is it, I go...
    Where is it, I'm going
    Because yours is my heart
In the cradle of this gulf
    Where...is he hiding?
    Yeehh
You see it on the horizon...
You are my sun and my north
And moon path in the night

    ### Jamming Zone Week 13: Funky Improvisation
God bless you all
Good morning, afternoon and evening my talented friends from this great community. Wherever you are and whatever you are doing, I hope you are doing well! My friends had thought about doing a "Guitar on Meditation" today, but since it's the weekend (Saturday) it deserves something happier and more active. So I decided to go for a "Funky Improv". Funk is one of the styles that I like the most for improvisation... well, that's when it's improsive, because generally my way of making music is more in a produced style or based on a composition, even if it's the simplest. But sometimes at some random moment, sitting at my PC working on a hot afternoon and to release tension for a moment I pick up the guitar and the first thing that comes to mind is a funky style free solo...accompanied by some riffs with slurs on the guitar. bar of C minor...by the way, the track I used is in Cminor (C minor) which was very comfortable, although I would have liked to make a download a little more fluid, but it is really a bit difficult to make the scales . and some solo styles on the acoustic guitar, due to the height and pressure of the strings and the size of the neck, this also made it difficult to keep the rhythm at times...a big difference compared to an electric guitar where it would be much more . practical...but I know that is to come (Amen). But I also fully enjoyed the moment since it is clearly an improvisation, I was able to get some harmonies even though the bass acoustic of the guitar usually makes the audio saturated at times. I was able to control this a little thanks to "Adobe Audition" through different virtual consoles, where I also added plugins for tube amplifiers and analog effects.
**About my relationship with Funk**, until about 12 years ago I didn't encounter it much, I had a more square and closed musical mind on the edge of rock. And it was then that by surprises of fate I got to know up close the wonderful and brutal music of a Venezuelan orchestra band called Guaco, which makes a fusion of tropical genres but based on jazz and funk. An unexpected opportunity arose to play with an orchestra that covered Guaco songs, and this was new for me. So I had to study his songs by ear and by sight, and that's how I learned a way of playing the guitar, not only for funk but for many other things.
And well, finally, to say goodbye, once again I want to thank the friends who have commented on my participation here in the community, thank you very much...although I have not had the chance to take a moment to respond to you personally, but I will be visiting your blogs right now. and I will tell you about it there. And again thanks to the community admins for the welcome and support always. I hope they trip this one. Greetings and a strong hug. God bless you all
