Who is Mona Mandouri? In her own words: "Hi, I am Mona. Most people need a name for an introduction-maybe because they’re too lazy to make one up themselves?I write. I always wrote. I made up bedtime stories until my mom fell asleep. I freestyled about things I have seen and fell in love with during the day. Most of the times I sung them for hours on the toilet. Wich, I still love to do because the acoustic in bathrooms make you sound so lovely.I was too scared to do art.It always looked like a crucial, beautiful dangerous draining solution for everything. Like heroin. That’s how I felt about it.So I went into the creative industry. I became a copywriter-for all sorts of clients around the world during the day hours.I don’t know much about hours. Here I discovered that I always was a writer. And that I have found my purpose a long time ago without noticing. So every now and then, in the other hours, I started to read out my poetry.Every now and then I’ll be part of an art project, installation, design concept, songwriting, video shoot and so on.  And I love it.Constantly willing and devoted to express myself for me or for others. And the need to be closer than physically close. • Tian Yao — How to think like a successful Chinese CEO
Tian Yao — Compete With Yourself
Happiness Is A Choice ” Tian Yao
I am thrilled to have a real power woman today on Grow: Tian Yao.
Tian Yao is a personal friend and mentor of mine, her success story is nothing short of spectacular.
I am honored that Tian Yao found time in her extremely busy schedule to appear on the grow podcast.
When she speaks guys, you should listen, because she knows what she is talking about.
I was introduced to Tian by two friends of mine who hinted that Tian also shares a passion for psychology and that we would get along great.
One of the reasons why I started the grow psychology podcast was because after years of studying clinical psychology I was looking for the other side of the spectrum, people who are totally kicking ass in life. Tian Yao is definitely in that category.
In order to understand the psychology of successful people, I was starting to look for people who might share some of their trade secrets with me in order to learn about excellence and high performance from real-world case studies.
    Who is Tian Yao?
Tian Yao is an ex-professional ballet/ traditional dancer and a Chinese entrepreneur who after finishing her master’s degree in 2003 established her first company in Newcastle in her mid-twenties. In 2006 she founded her second company in Hamburg Germany only to follow to establish her third company in 2009 in Xiamen China.
In 2016 she established her own brand Victoria Hyde London.
Tian Yao is not your typical self-made millionaire. Tian is a person who is always in learning mode. We talked hours about psychology and what it takes to win. I believe I was particularly interested in Tian Yao because after meeting her I was fascinated by her work-life balance. While on the one side she is a tough businesswoman, on her private side she is funny and has a huge heart.
Also being a young and hungry guy myself I was always curious to know what it’s like on the other side of the rainbow.
I wanted to know what happens when you conquer your dreams. Is it worth all the hard work and struggle? What does it feel like to make your first million? How does success change you?

The importance of controlling your psychological environment
    What balance means to her
Why she knew from a very early age what she wanted to be
What its like to grow up in the Chinese success culture
How chinches kids are drilled under cruel pressure

  • Tash from Port Joanna — The Psychology Of A Cultural Leader
I have a very special guest today in the Grow Podcast: Tash from Port Joana. Natasha Nomathamsanqawenkosi Manzungu is as awesome as her name is long.
I am very happy that she found some time in her busy schedule to do the podcast with me. One of the goals of my psychology podcast is to portray extraordinary people who are successful in their own way. Tash definitely fits these criteria. She has a playful and hilarious way of describing her journey from Zimbabwe to the stages of Germany where she entertains thousands of people.
To me, success is when people actively design their life after their true desires and add value to the world. Even when it means to go against the grain. Tash very early decided against taking over her family empire because she wanted to follow her own calling in life. I think in this conversation there is a gold nugget for everybody.
Tash's journey is nothing short of a spectacular success story and I am excited to see whats next in her adventure.
    Who is Natasha Nomathamsanqawenkosi Manzungu?
Natasha Nomathamsanqawenkosi Manzungu is an actress, musician, and lyricist born and raised in the city of kings, Bulawayo in Zimbabwe. She is a determined lover of all arts who exerts herself into learning from the arts as well as expressing herself through arts.
She aims to inspire and motivate through her music and also to talk about forbidden topics and politics to keep people aware of the poison in the world. Her concerts have been said to be comic but also pregnant with food for thought. Her personality shines through her eclectic music and her soul through her ability to house a role.
    What is this episode about?
in our wide-ranging conversation, Natasha Nomathamsanqawenkosi Manzungu and I discuss  and I cover many topics, including:
    How she became a singer
    What her childhood looked like
    The dangers of humility
What it takes to become a professional singer
    investing in yourself
    Dealing with loss and grief
What a perfect day would look like to her
    The importance of tears
Who she thinks of when she thinks of the world successful
Why she hates the word moist
Why she decided for art and against taking over the design empire of her mother
