Alien Earth Episode 8 "The Real Monsters" Details

Based on Characters created by Dan O'Bannon and Ronald Shusett and H.R. Geiger.

Episode Written by Showrunner Noah Hawley and Migizi Pensoneou

Episode Directed by Dana Gonzales

Spoiler filled synopsis: The hybrids have been imprisoned in one cell, with Joe and Morrow imprisoned in another. With external communications severed by Morrow, Boy Kavalier is trying to restore control to the island.

But Wendy uses her abilities to interface with technology to start shutting down the facility's cameras and internal communications turning the Neverland facility into a haunted house and plunging it into even more chaos. She struggles with her brother Joe's decision to shoot Nibs, believing he chose to ally himself with humans instead of her, but ultimately unlocks his cell allowing him and Morrow to escape.

Boy Kavalier approaches the hybrids, believing them to be under control, and reveals that at six years old, he built his own synthetic which he used to kill his abusive father.

Wendy unlocks their cell, Nibs kills Kavalier's bodyguard, and Boy Kavalier flees, beginning a game of hide and seek with the hybrids in pursuit.

Meanwhile, after escaping their cell Morrow sneaks up to Kirsh in the lab and attacks him; Kirsh is badly damaged, but ultimately chokes Morrow unconscious. Smee and Slightly arrive in the lab and they incapacitate both Kirsh and Morrow, while Nibs captures Dame Sylvia.

Meanwhile, Atom Eins lures Joe to Kavalier's room and locks him in with the T Ocellus in a plan to deliver a communicative version of the creature to Boy K. But Wendy arrives to save Joe and fights Atom Eins, who reveals himself as a synthetic. Using her abilities Wendy is able to control his motor functions and stop his attack in its tracks.

During their battle the T Ocellus escapes to the beach, where it possesses Arthur Sylvia's corpse.

With the help of the older Xenomorph, Wendy and Joe capture Boy Kavalier and lock him in a cell with the rest of the grown ups. Wendy reaches the realisation that Boy K might pretend to be a child but he’s an adult who has chosen to hate the rest of the world, just like his father before him.

As Yutani and her team approach the island, Wendy, with both Xenomorphs nearby, declares to her hybrid brethren, "Now, we rule.”
