On The Malliard Report tonight we talk with Alisse Lee Goldenberg. She is an award-winning author of Horror, Young Adult Paranormal Romance, and Young Adult Fantasy fiction. She is currently working on two series: The Sitnalta Series (published by Pandamoon Publishing) and The Hadariah Chronicles. She has her Bachelors of Education and a Fine Arts degree and has studied fantasy and folklore since she was a child. Alisse is also a voice actress living in Toronto.

The first part of the show is about her many books she has written, as well as the Pandamoon Publishing company and the work she does for them. They also talk about the differences between the old fairy tales and the new. She and Jim talk about how the fairy tales have been watered down for today’s kids, and if they would tell the true tales vs the new ones.

Alisse, grew up with her grandmother telling her stories and superstitions from her native Poland, which helped inspire her lover for the folklore based and fantasy books she writes.

The next part of the show Jim and Alisse talk about her different hats she wears. She is an author and voice actor and writer of small tv shows and on person plays. She enjoys her voice work where she can allow her creativity and be who she wants to be. The voice acting is a new venue for her, she was doing fairs and conventions for her books. She was looking for new ways to inspire while reading samples of her book.
