  • Another coup in Africa Benin Republic😳🇧🇯

This quick live bulletin discusses yet another coup in Africa in Benin today.

They are saying that Loyal forces thwarted Lt. Col. Tigri’s plot to oust President Talon failed. Government confirms situation is under control and leaders are safe.

I was actually preparing for my screening of WOMAN DICTATOR today (which I trust you are all attending!) but then I got this news.

I will try to get more info before the screening so we can also talk about this during the LIVE chat with all attendees.

    See you then

  • Africa is being GENTRIFIED

So sometimes have an impromptu laid back live show where I turn on the camera and riff on a topic of note for that time. Did that yesterday and what was a chat about gentrification of Africa turned into an epic conversation.

I wish more of you had caught this show live. Took a while to get going but after an hour we were off to the races. I will say no more.

  • Gaddafi sends French President To Prison from the grave

For mer French President Nicolas Sarkozy Sentence to 5 Years in Prison. What They’re Not Telling You. President Nicolas Sarkozy has just been sentenced to five years in prison and it all traces back to his secret dealings with Muammar Gaddafi, Libya’s revolutionary leader who was once pushing for a united Africa under a gold-backed currency.

So why isn’t this everywhere on CNN, BBC, or France 24?

Because this story exposes the hidden link between France’s colonial collapse in Africa, the Sahel Alliance (Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso), and the Western powers who brought down Gaddafi in 2011.

In this video, I break down:

    * The real reason Sarkozy is being prosecuted now.

    * How Gaddafi allegedly funded Sarkozy’s 2007 campaign.

    * What leaked Hillary Clinton emails revealed about NATO’s motives in Libya.

    * Why Libya was destroyed after trying to free Africa from Western control.

    * How France’s current chaos connects to the loss of African resources.

This isn’t just about one corrupt president. It’s damage control — an attempt to bury the wider conspiracy behind Libya’s destruction and silence the names of others involved.

This conversation explores the importance of unity within the African diaspora, emphasising the challenges and opportunities that arise from collaboration. The speaker discusses the critical role of education and information control in empowering communities, as well as the necessity of financial support for growth. The dialogue also addresses the psychological disconnect between Black America and Africa, highlighting the potential for collaboration and the importance of understanding history in shaping future unity. Ultimately, the conversation advocates for self-sufficiency and independence as essential components of a successful partnership between the diaspora and the continent.

  • Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso REJECT the ICC

Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger have just announced they will withdraw from the International Criminal Court (ICC), calling it an “instrument of neo-colonialist repression.” In a joint statement, the three military-led Sahel states rejected the authority of the UN-backed court in The Hague, arguing that it has failed to prosecute powerful nations for war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide, and crimes of aggression, while disproportionately targeting African countries.

Russia’s growing role in the region cannot be ignored. All three countries now maintain close ties with Moscow, which has provided military and diplomatic support as they face escalating violence from jihadist groups linked to al-Qaeda and ISIS.

With Russian President Vladimir Putin under an ICC arrest warrant himself, the alignment between Moscow and the Sahel is only deepening.

The ICC has yet to respond to this historic decision. But for many, the question is clear: should Africa’s justice system be decided in The Hague, or built on African soil?

  • Tyla Said She’s Coloured Not Black. Here’s the Real History Why

Get The Crusaders Alert Now: The Crusaders Episode 2

When Tyla released her new EP WWP (We Wanna Party), headlines called it a flop after just 3,700 U.S. first-week sales. But what really caught my attention wasn’t the numbers, it was the backlash from Black America over her identifying as “Coloured.”

ALKEBULAN Discover The True Africa is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.

I’m not here to defend Tyla.

I’m using this moment to explain: What “Coloured” means in South Africa, how apartheid created the “Coloured” category to divide people of African descent and the painful history of racial classification laws like the Population Registration Act (1950).

I also talk about why the Coloured vs. Black debate continues to cause confusion and what it reveals about global Black identity and solidarity.

Watch your inboxes as I will be posting an article on this as well as a premium article on wedge politics.
