Today i am joined by photographer Attack The Back. He is mostly known for his work in the BJJ sphere, but as we go into during the podcast, has delved into astro-photography also. Today I am joined by UK MMA veteran Helen Harper. Alongside being a full time professional fighter, Helen owns and runs HHH Self Defence, a company designed to facilitate teaching self defence, and thus empowering women. Helen offers online and face to face seminars. Our conversation took many paths, from escaping abusive relationships, using the last of her money to get to Thailand to pursue being a full time fighter, to pumpkin spiced flapjacks.

Combat Sports is something that i very much love, and certainly the analysis and prediction side is something that brings me a great interest, so i brought along two very experienced and excellent MMA minds to discuss the upcoming fights at UFC 249. Sean Maguinness and Jack Sear. Sean is a purple belt in BJJ and has an active role in the Scramble Academy Leeds MMA program. Jack is also a purple belt in BJJ and an avid fan and analyst of MMA, having run MMA websites in the past.

This episode features Irish BJJ standout Jack Dolan. Jack is currently a blue belt under SBG Tullamore Head Coach Kieran Davern, he is a part time coach and full time competitor. Our conversation delved heavily into BJJ, competition mindset and then diverted off into 'free will', and the idea of luck.
