Baptism symbolizes that as Christ has died, was buried and rose again, so the believer has died, has been buried to self, and now has new life in Christ Jesus. Every baptism is a declaration and celebration.

A celebration of all God accomplished during our 3-day mission trip in our community. Our worship reminds us of how great our God is and how He uses acts of service for His glory and purpose.

In this episode, Pastor David and Malea take a closer look at Revelation 4 & 5.

Questions covered in this episode:

What does it mean that John was “in the Spirit”?

What is the purpose of the creatures? What is shown about God’s character by the creatures?

Why does John weep?

What does 5:9 tell us about the nature of the church? How should it shape our missionary activity?

This is the Revelation of Jesus Christ. He is the risen Lord who begins this book, the Lord over His Church who speaks through individual letters and now He stands as the Exalted One who is establishing His Kingdom. The events that are coming will happen because Jesus is worthy because He is the Lion and the Lamb.

Imagine looking up and seeing an open door into heaven. This is one of the most significant sections of Scripture as God reveals the glory of heaven. And the most important part is the Throne that is exalted over everything and the One who sits on it.

In this episode, Pastor David and Malea discuss the rapture in greater detail.

Many people know about the Rapture but how much do we really understand about the Rapture? Paul says we must not be ignorant about this truth but instead know it, prepare for it, and be encouraged by it. We will continue unpacking the Rapture by looking into the details of it that inspire us to be ready and keep watch. What is going to happen? Who will be involved? When is it going to happen?

The Rapture is one topic of the Bible that can spark a lot of interest but can cause confusion. But in Scripture we are told that the mystery of being raptured is a significant source of encouragement.

In this episode, Pastor David and Malea take a closer look at the churches in Philadelphia and Laodicea.

Questions covered in this episode:

How would you describe a church that does not have a heart for the lost? Can that church be a healthy church?

The church at Philadelphia had “little strength” or influence. What limitations do we have that God can use and overcome?

What is the main application for verses 10 & 11? How should that be a comfort to us?

Have you ever been mistaken or deceived about your spiritual condition or maturity?

What should be our proper response when the Lord exposes our spiritual immaturity or disobedience? How do we get “inside” and not people who hear those scary words of Jesus?

Welcome to the church in Laodicea. The church has lost its spiritual fire, zeal, and need for Jesus. Because of their condition, Jesus makes a terrifying declaration that we cannot avoid today. But even in judgment, Jesus offers a beautiful promise of intimacy with all who hear and respond.
