God is still raising up champions of the faith. The champions that have come before us stand as inspiration to the champions of today. Today we conclude our current series celebrating that those redeemed by Christ are declared the champions of Christ.

A command was given that went against what two women knew was right. A choice was before them to either follow God or the demands of man. Today, we are presented with the same choice. Today, our Champions are two women who held to their convictions and became part of the deliverance of an entire nation.

“Light yourself on fire with passion and people will come from miles to watch you burn.” John Wesley made this declaration about what God will accomplish through the lives of people on fire with the Holy Spirit. People who leverage their lives for the ministry of the Kingdom. Our Champion of Faith today is a man who started out serving tables but ended up being used by God to launch the Gospel into the world.

God loves to give. Every good and perfect gift is directly from God and He does not give sparingly. When we draw closer to the giving heart of God, we begin to live out that heart of generosity. This Sunday our champion is an unnamed widow who shows us the blessing of giving.

As our champion, we are encouraged that the same freedom is given to us.

Do you ever feel pressured to compromise in following what God commands? Tempted to take an easier path that goes along with everyone else? Following Jesus is not easy. Especially when everything around us encourages the road of compromise. This Sunday our Champion of Faith reminds us that Jesus is always with us and gives us the strength to never compromise.

In this episode, we continue in our summer series of testimonies…stories of how Jesus changes lives. Today, we hear from Natalie Moore.

As we continue our 2nd week of “Champions of Faith” we look to the story of Gideon. We study some of the “lesser” known people God used to bring victory, reconciliation, and glory to Himself. We dissect how Gideon heard, confirmed, and trusted God's call for him to lead a handful of men to victory and how we can apply this in our own calling to the ministry.
