  • Hijacked – Universalism
Universalism teaches that there are many ways to get to Heaven. And it makes sense - because sincerity matters. If people disagree on who God is...but are sincere in that belief...then they will ultimately be OK. BUT as appealing as that is - if the Bible is true - then we simply cannot believe that because Jesus tells us that he is the only way to God...and to Heaven.

  • Unspoken – Trauma & Abuse
There is very little in our world that is as tragic as trauma. It wounds...cuts...and scars deeply. Often times, trauma happens because we are stuck in the middle of a broken world (we see this in war and the loss of loved ones)...but far too often, trauma happens because of abuse. And often times, abuse happens at the hands of those that are called to love and protect us. When that happens we can feel ashamed, unloved, and even undeserving of love. But even then - we can take shelter in the truth that we are loved by the God of the Universe and that he calls us beloved children.

  • Unspoken – Depression, Addiction & Suicide
Too many people that deal with depression do so in isolation and in silence. Most people would never know from the outside that inwardly a person is struggling to even function. In addition, there are many who are fighting with depression without really understanding that is the battle that they are in. Depression then becomes the catalyst that can produce addiction and can drive some towards suicidal thoughts and heartbreakingly, some to follow through with it.
