For us, YouTube has been a impactful platform that has allowed us to grow up with creators on the platform who helped us feel understood and heard as we were growing up, and even still to this day. This week, we wanted to highlight some of our favorite content creators and express how these content creators played a huge part into making us who we are today. 

In celebration of Women's History month, we wanted to shed light on the experiences Black women may face in their everyday lives and the importance of expressing and feeling that "Black is beautiful."

As we've discussed before on our platform, music has meant a lot to us in our lives. Well this week, we wanted to highlight our own musical backgrounds and the impact our musical backgrounds had on our lives and our musical perspectives. 

Our long-awaited and anticipated tribute episode to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. There's only so much we could say to acknowledge the impact his legacy had on us as Black students, but we tried our best to give him justice and we made sure to give him his flowers. 

One of the best forms of relaxing is binge watching or binge reading. In this episode, hosts Shakyra Mabone, Jada Vasser and Anthony Brinson III will talk about their favorite Black TV shows, movies or books and discuss the impact it had on them growing up or even the impact it still has on them till this day. 

We'll always joke around and we'll always have a laugh, but whether we're joking around or being serious, we will express those things in the best way we know how. The way we speak has many layers to it, and it can be light hearted when referring "Black sayings." For example, "Don't touch nun when we go into this grocery store" or it can become serious when we are trying to be understood when navigating our day-to-day lives. This is what we'll get into this week.
