Remember when you were pregnant, and you were watching your body change. and you were so excited to see it get bigger, see the different ways your body was transforming to create life? remember, looking in the mirror and just being in complete awe that your body was housing an entire human?
There’s very few times that we actually praise our bodies for all they do for us, one of those times being pregnancy. and the minute we pop our little human out we start back on that cycle of hating it & wanting it to go back to “normal.”
But what if you kept that same awe & love you had for your body during pregnancy, all the fuxking time?
Your body was meant to fluctuate, to go up and down, to ebb and flow. we were meant to change, to transform.
What if, instead of hating your body, you loved it, just as it is. no judgment, no hate, just unwavering love in whatever state she has to show up in right now.
Things I’m doing to help me love my body (not mentioned in episode)…
-Journaling…uncovering where I learned to hate my body and rewriting these stories.
-Moving my body sensually
-Meditating on the mantra “I am grateful for my body and I love it however it needs to show up today.”
