I share my experience with the community and society in this time of unrest and racism. It is our responsibility to live as ethically and morally required by the requirements of society. With an administration that condones hate, it is our hand to lead ourselves.

Another rant about how I feel the current times are affecting me in my place as a medical assistant. In this unfortunate time in our lives, we need to step back and see these events for what they are, not with bias. Unfortunately narcissism and esotericism is well alive.

A ramble about the good things that people are doing during this time of uncertainty. As well, remember that there are no stupid ideas, but also remember, we need to have a versed interest in whatever venture we take on.

This episode is a testimony to my exposure to what’s going on in the world during this historic time. I speak about interacting with people and how I feel we can make this experience better or all of us and how we can begin to make sense and be better stewards.

In this episode I share my experience working with newly graduated registered nurses. Nursing is a career that not many can endure much less take on the curriculum. The nurse has always been the corner stone and backbone of medicine. Unfortunately the new grads are a bit, unsavory, much to learn. The seasoned RN I feel have learned the humbling life lessons that have made them a better person. Disclaimer, not all new grads are annoying. But with any new graduate there is a sense of pride in what one has achieved. I figure we have to navigate life and learn from it’s experiences that make us better people. Now, I’ve worked with some really great nurses though they tend to be the more experienced ones. Either way, my hats off and respects to those that take on this career and make it work.

In this episode I explain my belief system in this whole crazy situation going on now. Express how my daily living as a medical assistant is challenged and shifted on a daily basis and how it is that I maintain a sensible belief system. In this episode I touch on the topic of dedication. Dedication means different things for each of us. There are those of us that think we’re dedicated when we really aren’t at all, and there’s those of us that are considered stewards of dedication. Dedication takes our ability to be accountable for our skills and work ethic. Dedication is what gets us up in the morning and through the day. Dedication allows us to give the best in patient care. I’m dedicated, are you?

In this episode I touch on the unethical medical assistant. We all have a coworker that just doesn’t pull their weight or work to the most of their scope. How does this make you feel? What does it make you think about them? What should you feel?
