All Things New

Listen Later

Today Perry and Shawna talk about how God always making us new.  He is always creating life out of death.  First, the hardship you may be going through right now is being turned into a song, maybe not a literal song, but it will be a message of hope born in the flames of your hardship.  And your song will cause “many to see and fear and put their trust in the Lord!”  Then Shawna reminds us, nothing is impossible with God—she shares how the Lord delivered her dad from smoking and healed his lungs so that they became like that of a newborn.  It’s encouragement to not give up.  Just give God your impossible and see what he will do with it.  And finally we explore the beauty of what it means to be a new creation in Jesus—imagine that Jesus is an ocean and that you’ve been dropped into that ocean.  Now don’t just imagine it, believe it.  You have been immersed into Jesus, the bottomless ocean of love.  You are in Christ now and forever and you are endlessly being made new!  If you are in Christ you are a new creation (2 Cor. 5:17).
