Are we wiling to take what we do here and move out into our cities, our neighborhoods, our homes and live out the things that we are talking about here? Because if we are not, it's are a religious country club that sings pretty songs.

After witnessing the heartbreaking cycle of incarceration, a former corrections officer, Teresa Goines, is working to provide a safety net for at-risk teens.

Our Church doesn't have a mission, but God's mission has a Church.

So why? what's the point? Why is the Church called to be Salt and Light? 

"When followers of Christ are like salt they go out and confront movements of death and decay in order to sustain life for all.

When followers of Christ are like light they expose the systemic injustices of the world and they also expose the sinful hearts of humanity that perpetuate them."
