The way we perceive the world dictates the emotions we feel towards it. It can seem like the view you have on life is fixed. That's simply not the case, the way you view life is entirely up to you. Your response to events that are occurring is entirely up to you. Transitioning from a negative perception to a positive one is not easy. It takes time and practice, an understanding that you are exactly where you are supposed to be. It takes action, doing things that fuel your soul instead of your ego. This journey started with a desire to be happy, it then flourished into a desire to be aligned with my highest good. This alignment is what keeps us in a flow state of mind at work when the guests are rude. We don't attach to their energy, because we are grounded in ours. Kat's Crumble this week is all about breath work. I share聽 a few short techniques that help us produce the energy we need for our day. Whether that energy be cleansing, firing, or realigning.

In this weeks episode, we talk about showing up for ourselves and what it means to do that. I explain why it is that I missed last weeks episode and how that played into me showing up for myself. In order to be able to fully show up for yourself, every day. You need to have an understanding of who it is that you are and where it is you would like to be going. Start writing the story of you and who you want to be. I encourage you to put yourself first, rest when you need it, say no when you have to. When you need to reach outside of your comfort zone, understand that no matter what happens outside that parameter you have your back. You don't need the strengths of others, because you find that strength in yourself. Kat's Crumble is all about tattoos. I recently got my sixth and largest piece done, fully colored. I felt it was appropriate to use this space to talk about my experience with connecting to artists and some tips on tattoo etiquette.

Hey, lovelies! Living holistically is not intended to be trendy. Living holistically is making conscious choices in regards to our lifestyle. To me, moderation is everything when it comes to living holistically. I never want to feel restricted, but I also don't want to be tipping the scales when it comes to my mental or physical health. For this weeks episode, I paint the picture of holistic living. If you have listened to previous episodes, then you should have a decent foundation of what it means to live a balanced lifestyle. Connecting and respecting the mind, body, and spirit is key. For Kat's Crumble this week, I implemented a list of books that can better help you understand what it means to live holistically. If you would like direct links to these books, check out VWK's blog at the link below.

It's summertime! Graduation is over, finals are finished, and now it's time to transition into this bright and beautiful time of year. In this weeks episode, we begin transitioning into summer by
cultivating our confidence. Summer is the season for confidence, just like graduation is the season for job hunting. Less clothing, more adventures, and certainly more freedom. Confidence is essentially being comfortable in your own skin. This comfort should allow you to accept yourself entirely. Confidence is crucial for creating relationships, understanding your strengths and weaknesses, and helping further you in life. Confidence in an interview is key. In this episode, we look at being confident in your interview and in your skin.
Kat's Crumble transitions us into a summer routine by realigning our goals and aspirations. By creating a list of new goals, I am setting myself up to have a successful summer. One of my goals is to read four books this summer, on top of the two books I am currently reading. I felt the desire to share the books I wish to read by the end of the summer, which is why I incorporated a summer reading list.

Hello, Lovelies! We have all had a relationship mutually go sour, whether it's platonic or romantic. Every one of us has had a missed connection with someone we thought was our ride or die. Most of these missed connections are a result of us trying to expand and grow, but we are not given the room to. In this weeks episode, I discuss the point in which a relationship needs rest but its overlooked. Many times, it's overlooked because we are too scared to lose the individuals we are closest to. Maybe, that individual really hurt us or maybe we are just moving on to different paths. For whatever reason, change is necessary. When we resist this change, what ends up happening is the relationship starts to run on borrowed time. This turns a relationship toxic. Communications between one another is not clear, resentment grows, the betrayal (if experienced) manifests into uglier forms, and it's just shit.
Which is why I wanted to spend this episode understanding ourselves in terms of our relationship with others. I talk about how we can remove ourselves from negative relationships to give room for more positive relationships to grow. How we can recognize this change from a healthy perspective in our future relationships to prevent this from reoccurring. I talk about how to respect the others' space during times like these. To close the episode, Kat's Crumble holds us accountable for the position we played in the relationship ending. However, we do not inflict shame on ourselves for the role we played. We recognize and we release.

Can you imagine not knowing where you're going to be living or working in three months? With graduation just around the corner, things can be kind of chaotic. The level of uncertainty during this time can be astronomical. Which is why Vibes With Kat is focusing episode 7 on graduation. As with every episode, I guide our beautiful souls with a tarot reading. This episode starts it's journey with an anti-bucket list. This is a list of all the things we are releasing and keeping out of our lives from here on out. Your anti-bucket list should contain things you are trying not to do. As we create our anti-bucket list we give space for greater things to enter our lives. Throughout the episode, I walk you through my plans leading up to and after graduation. I am completely and totally uncertain of how successful these steps will be. That's the beautiful part of every journey. If you are in the unknown, not knowing where you're going to live, not having a job secured. Follow me along my journey of revealing this "post-graduate uncertainty". With no guarantee's, I am revealing my plans for moving across country, finding a house, and getting a job. To wrap up VWK, the crumble this week is perfect for parents, friends, and anyone who likes to give gifts. Kat's Crumble is a list of gifts that you can get the graduate in your life. As always, Vibes With Kat is here to spread positivity and joy. It's the little things, that spark motivation, that matter.

With finals week around the corner and the seasons on the verge of changing, life can seem quite stressful. Stress is not a bad thing, it's not a something we should let weigh us down in our daily activity. Stress is simply a reminder that you're in a current state of "too much" and you need to return to that beautiful home frequency. Our home frequency is the space in which we reside when we are content and in understanding with the universe. It is with the understanding that we are capable of doing everything we need to do. We just may need to incorporate some mindfulness techniques in order to accomplish these things in our best health. We are talking all about the bedroom for Kat's Crumble this week. Ask yourself, "what is it I do in bed?". If your answer isn't "sex and sleep," make sure you listen till the end to understand why you're doing it wrong. Your bedroom should be a reflection of the peace and serenity you desire when you come home; a place where stress can't enter. This episode may be just what you need if you're looking to incorporate more serenity into your space.
