I thought this episode was going to be about my struggle to prioritize eating lately. This quickly turned into me unpacking why I feel the need to stay busy 24/7. This episode got emotional in ways I didn’t plan for. I talked about how not properly nourishing myself has led me to realize how much of my productivity is actually fueled by nervous system dis regulation, comparison, and a deep fear of ending up like the person I told myself I’d never be.
If you’ve ever struggled with slowing down and or trying to prove your worth through productivity, this is the episode for you.
This week’s episode is a conversation about burnout and what it’s looked like for me recently. I explain what pushed me to that point and how I spent this last week slowing down, reflecting, and recovering both mentally and physically.
I talk about the importance of looking in, instead of constantly pushing through, recognizing the signs your mind and body are trying to give you, and small day-to-day practices that can help you feel more grounded, regulated, and connected to yourself again.
In this episode, I open up about the challenges I’ve faced while learning to love my body and shift my focus towards a healthy lifestyle instead of just my appearance. I talk through the mindset shifts that have helped me grow, along with the highs and lows I’ve experienced.
In this episode, I share what motivated me to leave my hometown and the ups and downs that have come with starting over in a new city. As I approach my one-year mark in Nashville, I reflect on growth, challenges, and what this move has meant for me.
This episode finally kicks off my podcast journey by explaining a little bit about who I am, what I’m passionate about, and why I want to create a space for real conversations around growth and mental health. I also open up about the excuses that have been holding me back from recording this episode and how I’ve finally moved past them.
