Joel is primarily about God's promise to pour out His love on His people. Even in the midst of judgment, God shows His grace. Joel is a wake-up call, a prophecy about turning the coffee cup of our lives right-side up, then pouring. God will pour out His Spirit on All of his people - but He does do for a purpose. - Joel 2:18-3:21

Is there a smell that wakes you up? Maybe it's fresh baked goods? Maybe it's that morning coffee? An aroma can create anticipation, it can wake us up, and in some cases it can warn us of danger. The book of Joel is like that moment when we awaken to the aroma of what's real. It's a wake-up call. It's a Call to Repentance. - Joel 1:1-2:17

The Dragon, the Antichrist, and the False Prophet - they are a sham - a counterfeit on the perfection of the Triune God! Believers will suffer and die and the world will worship the fake godhead, yet, we have a role to "faithfully endure" - a role that sounds really hard! - Revelation 13:1-18

You may be the last one to cross the finish line, humiliated that you finished so far behind - but then the judge hangs the gold medal around YOUR neck, You win! We WIN! Not because of our obedience, but because of HIS obedience! - Revelation 11:14-12:17

Revelation 10:1-11:14 is in no way as delicious as "sweet and sour" sauce. Yet, it will contrast the beauty of grace and the sweetness of God's plan with the consequences of sin and its destructive nature. Can we too come to see the sweetness of God through the sourness of the judgment that must deal with sin? Holy Spirit help us! - Revelation 10:1-11:14

What gets our attention? What is it that shakes us to our core? How do we respond when God has shaken our world and turned it upside down? Perhaps this is our time to awaken and turn back to the Lord. - Revelation 8-9

None can stand before God Almighty. Yet the followers of Christ are sealed, and He WILL keep His promises! God will do what he said that He would do! - Revelation 7:1-17

Revelation 6 reveals some hard events. In fact, we see similar events happening around us today: bad things - suffering! Many will ask, "Why does God allow suffering?" We may not know all the answers to that question, but suffering will bring the Praise and Glory of God in the very end - because the promised end is glorious. - Revelation 6:1-17
