Our world is on edge. It is volatile and our earthly future is uncertain. We shouldn't be surprised by this, for the Bible talks about much of it. This week we begin to uncover that which God has already uncovered. - Revelation 1:1-8

The Kingdom of God. It is what Christ ushered in and what He will bring to completion when He returns. The Kingdom of God is a picture of the Gospel in its entirety. Christ our Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King. - Acts 27-28

What is boldness? And what makes us bold? Is it pride? Guilt? Insecurity? Confidence? Is it love? -Acts 25:23-26:32

The longer it takes to achieve a goal, the more open we become to compromise. But where God's moral and sovereign will is concerned, He never asks us to compromise, however, He does expect us to continue in purity and to trust in His timing. - Acts 24:1-25:22

A brand new pencil contains enough graphite to draw a line about 35 miles long - but in order for the pencil to achieve that length and fulfill its maximum potential; it must be willing to lose everything along the way. - Acts 23:12-35

Christmas is a busy time of year - we hustle and we bustle - and we say regularly that "Jesus is the Reason for the season." But does that phrase actually change the way we live Christmas? Jesus' birth is a reminder of the incalculable Love that God has for us. The Son of God was born for us in order to die for us. Love Came Down at Christmas - and with Him comes freedom. -1 Corinthians 13:13

Life is hard. Love is hard. But Love never gives up. Love goes on - it does not end - Love continues. - 1 Corinthians 13:7-12

Pride? We all have it, that's right - ALL of us. Resentment? Yep, we all have that too - even those who resent me for saying so. Love is not arrogant, proud, or resentful. Love IS humble.

It is Christmas, and perhaps we already have gifts carefully set beneath our trees. There is a gift however, that cannot be wrapped - it can only be demonstrated. That is the gift of love, and Love Came Down at Christmas.
