It's the beginning of the end for Nick Blackwarren, Goblin Thief as he attempts the heist of his life, the Royal Vault. Time is running out as he seeks a way to stop the Prince, and save his maybe-sorta-we're-not-ready-for-labels-yet, Rhys, from forced servitude. However, the Royal Vault is housed in the safest, and most dangerous place in the City: Victory Tower, domain of the God of Wealth. Can a Goblin, lowest rung on the mythic ladder, steal from a god?
