How many times during the day  do you check in with yourself? Or, for that matter how often do you check in with God? Are you keeping tabs on what he wants for your life? For the most part we're too busy going here and there to give it much thought.

For a long time I had forgotten about the importance of checking in with God, that is until my life made me aware.  Not that I didn't pray, I just wasn't asking the right questions or not asking questions at all. My life started showing me all the detours I had taken, simply because I had stopped paying attention to where God was trying to take me.
