Recent events in the news have left me in a somber mood. This week we talk about how we have been dealing with currents. Why must black celebrities come out of the wood work during these trying times to ask us about black on black crime. Looking at you Damian Lillard, Bobby Valentino and All Lives Matter Fetty Wap.

In more light hearted news Marvel has a new Iron Man, or should I say Iron Woman? She doesn't have a new name yet, but she is a 15 year old black girl. I'm excited and I hope to see her in the Marvel Cinematic Universe sooner than later.

Batman's The Killing Joke is getting a larger theatrical run. I wished more animated movies would be released in theaters. Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice Director's Cut is making its rounds. I'm tempted to see to see if it makes sense.

Burger King is selling hot dogs now. That means anything is possible. Including Batman Ben Affleck drunkenly ranting about Tom Brady being suspended for cheating. We wish we could be passionate about things that don't matter.

Wale released a new mixtape last week while we were recording. Summer on Sunset is a prelude to a new album entitled Shine. The mixtape features some of our favorite artists in the Dogg Pound and Cam'ron. It is well crafted and everything we've come to expect from a Wale project.

In movie news Walter White is cast as Zordon, will the rangers be selling meth? We can only hope! Vick is though the roof about a new and exciting character for his favorite movie franchise.

King Jafi makes his return to cinema in Rogue One. DC announces only one Justice League film. Spider-man: Homecoming has lots of people of color!
