Almost Accurate

Listen.... more people should watch Kings of Tupelo. It's easily one of the wildest documentaries we have ever watched, and MORE PEOPLE SHOULD BE TALKING ABOUT THIS.

Do any of the following peak your interest?

• Conspiracies
• Elvis Impersonators
• Plots that wind up threatening local government officials
• Government officials who also own morgues
• Black Market body part sales
• Karate

If one or more of these things tickles your fancy then boy oh boy do we have the perfect documentary for you all to watch on Netflix RIGHT NOW.

Also Nintendo basically held a snap Nintendo Direct today, 6 days before their big Switch 2 blowout and MAN DOES METROID PRIME 4 LOOK PRETTY GOOD ACTUALLY.

Hi guys,

No new one this week, but since that new season of Righteous Gemstones is rolling with their new season, let's throw it back over two years since we reviewed their last season premiere.

The boys are back and so are the Righteous Gemstones!

Well kinda, turns out they decided to turn their season premiere into a Civil War Period piece with Bradley Cooper but it still kinda ruled.

Ryan has also been on a tear as he breaks down the first two episodes of Daredevil Reborn, and wouldn't you know it he gave the Hellboy franchise another shot with Hellboy: The Crooked Man! Turns out, it's okay! Not nearly the absolutely travesty that the last Hellboy was. Yuck.

We're back.

Guess what. It's time to talk multiple things. Like Dexter Original Sin. Also Severance season 2. Also White Lotus season 3. Also several other things. Possibly including but not limited to:

• James Gunn saying Robert Pattinson "isn't the Batman for the DCU"
• Happy Gilmore 2 is coming out this summer on Netflix
• Not only does Tom Holland have his own N/A beer brand called Bero, they also apparently sell it at Target and he couldn't buy it because he has a little baby face and forgot his ID and they wouldn't sell it to him despite him being Tom Holland. Like come on what are we even doing here???!!

Well this week we've opened the vault way WAY open and we're going all the way back to the fall of 2018, in the very beginning of the show when both of us played Marvel's Spider-man on the PS4 and man OH MAN what a game that was.

New episodes back next week when we'll talk about Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man!

Listen guys- we're sick. So no new episode this week! Soooo.... to fill time, we're really going to be reaching here. Follow our logic for this choice.

The Switch 2 was announced today, and the company that makes it is Nintendo. Are y'all still following us so far? The game they showed up sure seems like a new version of Mario Kart, featuring a version of Donkey Kong that sure looks like the model they used in the Mario Bros movie.... also speaking of the Mario Bros movie.... we reviewed that!

Thanks for sticking with us. It sure was a long walk to get to this point. Enjoy this dive into the... well we were going to say not so distant past but it's been nearly two years ago. Yikes.

This week Jake & Ryan look ahead to the year that could be in 2025- including all of the probably terrible but might be slightly okay video game adaptations, from the Last of Us season 2, A Minecraft Movie, Five Nights at Freddie's 2 and even more! There's a lot of stuff coming out (or might come out this year!)
