Kitty's work encompasses all of our favorite things - circuit boards, LEDs, cats, and textiles!  We talk about it all this week, demonstrate her BLE flower PCBs and talk about the code, and dive into her latest product - Meow!  Digitally designed clothing to your measurements, in themes of cats or space!

Anne Barela does so many cool things - she's a space enthusiast who regularly tweets about the Artemis missions, she rounds up All Things CircuitPython for adafruit, she wrote 2 books for Make, she was in the US foreign service for many years, and has worked for JPL/NASA.  We talk to her about all of it, especially CircuitPython and C, and do a little Circuit Playground project or demo!

We couldn’t be happier to welcome Thea to the show.  We talk modular synths, pretty circuit boards, importing PCB artwork into KiCad, and python, and who knows what else!

We welcomed Kelly Heaton to the soldersesh this week! Kelly is a creative and talented electrical engineer who is just as passionate about technology as she is about the environment. She has fully functional, analog circuit art fixtures on display at various places and exhibitions that light up and make noise! Check out her latest project "Circuit Garden" - a life size, multi-piece installation that combines the intricacies of electronic circuitry and the beauty of the natural world. We were excited to hear how these projects came to fruition as we were breadboarding and chatting oscillators, based on the birdsong circuit used in the exhibit.

This week we welcome Natasha aka TechnoChic to the sesh!  Natasha is an avid maker who is up for any challenge.  She has an array of personal projects that she uploads blogs, videos, and tutorials about - like her LED bike project, Lady Gaga cosplay with LED matrix mask, Gingerbread Condo (fully furnished!), and even Loki cosplay for dogs!  She also designs STEAM craft kits, geeky jewelry, and other products that blink or glow in her shop; we were excited to put together her DIY Blinky Bow Ties and hear what cool projects she's up to now!

We have Lixie Labs joining us! We talk to them about their newest product, the Pixie Chroma display, what its development was like, and how the Crowd Supply process is going! We also put together one of their Lixie II kits, which is fun modern spin on a Nixie display.

We welcomed Hannah Makes to our livestream this week!  Hannah creates amazing projects, she mixes electronics with all sorts of objects to make things like teabag-dunking robot arms, light-up dresses, and so much more. 

Steph Piper joins us!  She's the founder of Elkei Education and makes incredibly beautiful soldering kits in the style of enameled pins.  We chat about her kits and path into STEM while soldering one up!

Amanda Preske of Circuit Breaker Labs and Because Science joins us and talks about making circuit board jewelry, running a science-focused pop-up gift shop, and diversity in STEM.
