Several company veterans at Google who helped to spearhead the companies advertising business have been laid off in a round of cuts that may signal big changes coming to the tech giant. 

The cuts come after the DOJ last week sued Google-parent company Alphabet, saying it holds a monopoly over digital advertising technology.

Are these cuts just part of the mass layoffs hitting the tech sector right now or do you think this has more to do with the antitrust case?
