In this episode I am joined by Aaron of @goingtoheckforthis and Leah of @trueleahliongirl as we discuss white supremacy, the effects of performative allyship and what to do when we get it wrong. We are not experts. We are all white and we are navigating what it means to peel away from innate racism.
In this episode, I mention about going back to the roots of feminism and insinuate that there was no racism in that time but since this episode was recorded I have learned about the absolute presence of racism in and throughout all of the waves feminism. I am constantly learning and evolving and want transparency in this space. Thank you to @blackgirlvoices for sharing this among so much more and educating on your platform!
