This special episode with guest Kerri Gallagher Crago is one of my favorites so far, not just because she's family but more importantly her message. Kerri has such an understanding of how precious life is, her life has been dedicated to helping others, and she knows that each day is a gift no one should take for granted. A nurse by trade, Kerri has travelled to Haiti 10+ times to help underprivileged communities with food, medical care, training and educating, as well as connecting to the people there. Her career as a nurse has taken her from labor & delivery to, transplant, ER to studying infection disease...her list of accomplishments goes on and on. An adrenaline junkie, she makes working out a priority and even makes time to run at Disney (one of her favorite places!)

On today's episode I sit down with Nikki Zablocki to talk about her son Wesley who passed away in March of 2015. Wesley was 7 years old when he was first diagnosed with osteosarcoma and after four years of treatment and living with cancer, he passed away. Nikki shares how her family vowed, "we're going to beat this!" In 2013 they connected with Cure Search and started Wesley's Warriors and as of today Wesley's Warriors has raised $300,000 dollars to go towards children's cancer research.
