Episode 38
What is anxiety??
Well that's an extremely nuanced subject and it's obviously extremely hard to answer especially in a short Podcast episode.
What is a little easier to explain is what happens to you on a biological level when you suffer from this often debilitating condition.
Once you understand the mechanism of action involved you will have a much better understanding on what you can do to manage it.
Whether you suffer from anxiety, stress, panic attacks or you are just generally of a nervous disposition having this understanding really can help you to mitigate the effects of anxiety disorder and in many cases you can even solve the problem completely.
It's all about managing your nervous system, something which we all have the power to control with just a few simple breathing exercises and the added bonus is that their effects are often immediate.
It's not only backed by science but by our very own biology.
Your nervous system is intrinsically linked to the way in which you breath. Most of the population allow their nervous system to dictate how they breathe and in turn how they feel, usually at their detriment.
Well, I'm here to tell that shouldn't be the case, we can reverse this issue and take control of our nervous system and in turn the way that we feel, simply by breathing with intention for 10-15minutes a day.
The positive health benefits really cannot be understated and it is my strong belief that everyone of us would benefit a great deal by adding this to our daily routine.
