In today's episode during Mental Health Week, Jaiden and Sabina discuss mental health and wellness. The pandemic has had a huge toll on overall mental health, and the Canadian Mental Health Association has chosen the theme of "name it, don't numb it" for their campaign this year. In support of that mission, Jaiden and Sabina identify where they are at right now, and what strategies have helped them to get there.
Today we cover:
- Mental wellness comes in waves
- Finding the root cause and identifying holistic strategies to manage that
- Know when you need to talk to someone
- Find balance
- Start small, and set reasonable expectations
- Do something everyday to get moving, be creative, and give yourself space to feel
- Don't underestimate the power of sleep
Resources we love:
