Welcome to the Always Bayern Chelsea show. In the 112th episode Jim takes the reigns to recap Chelsea's preseason matches against both Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan. He discusses how Enzo Maresca was about to play a lot of players that will be key for Chelsea this season. In the attack, Chelsea were firing on all cylinders and look as though they will tear up the Premier League this season. Joao Pedro scored twice in two matches, and Liam Delap added a second half brace in the match against AC Milan. Cole Palmer is looking fit as ever, and Estevao Willian will show flashes this season of being the best young player in the world. In the midfield, Jim loves what he is seeing - with the starters and the reserves. Essugo and Santos will be very key this season, Jim thinks. Jim goes on to discuss how the loss of Levi Colwill will affect the team, and how the defenders looked without him in these two games. That will be something to watch going forward. Welcome to the Always Bayern Chelsea show. In episode 111 Danny jumps on camera for a late night breakdown of Bayern Munich's 4-0 over Tottenham Hotspur in another preseason friendly. This time around it was utter domination from Vincent Kompany's squad, winning the Telekom Cup in glorious fashion. Danny breaks down the lineups, tactics, player performances, scoring/substitutions, and all of the match highlights. Harry Kane opened up the scoring in the 12th minute with a gorgeous goal assisted by Michael Olise. Kane then went on to slip and miss a rare penalty. Kingsley Coman scored assisted by Konrad Laimer before the starters came off and the youngsters went on to shine. Lennart Karl and Jonah Kusi-Asare scored while David Daiber and Paul Wanner assisted. Finally, Danny briefly previews what this could all mean for the upcoming season. He closes off the episode with mention of Chelsea's center back Levi Colwill's unfortunate ACL injury. Danny kicks this episode off with a breakdown of Bayern Munich's 2-1 win over Lyon in their first friendly match of the preseason. Many youngsters got minutes in this one, including starts for Tom Bischof, Paul Wanner, and Lennart Karl. Michael Olise certainly stole the show scoring a brace including a penalty drew by Luis Diaz making his debut for Bayern Munich. Serge Gnabry also notched an assist. Danny then closes things off by hitting on all of the latest transfers and news surrounding Bayern Munich. This includes the long awaited purchase of Luis Diaz as well as loans for João Palhinha, Bryan Zaragoza, and Lovro Zvonarek, plus the permanent sale of Adam Aznou to Everton, and Thomas Muller to the Vancouver Whitecaps. Finally, we send love and condolences to Sven Ulreich and his family after the death of his six year old son.

Bayern was bounced in the quarter finals by Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea avenged the Bavarians by beating PSG to win the whole thing. We start with Bayern Munich, where there may be more questions than answers at this point. Danny questions whether or not Bayern can be world beaters this season, how they will fill the Jamal Musiala and Thomas Muller sized holes in the squad, whether or not they will be able to make any impact signings, and if Vincent Kompany is up to the task to grow this team in his second season as manager. Then, we move on to Chelsea where we glaze Enzo Maresca’s World Cup performance, talk about all of the new signings, and what Chelsae’s prospects will be for this season going forward in the English Premier League and the Champions League.

The 105th episode of the show sees Danny flying solo ranking all of the individual players that have been linked to Bayern Munich in the summer 2024/2025 transfer window on a tier list from S all the way to D. Danny kicks things off with a short introduction previewing all of the cool incoming videos and plans that Always Bayern Chelsea has on the docket. He then goes into detailing looking at all the players that Bayern Munich has been linked to this transfer window and rating them via a tier system. Many things go into these rankings including a players talent level, floor and ceiling, as well as how well they will fit into Bayern Munich's current system under manager Vincent Kompany. He also looks at whether or not Bayern has a plan for these players going forward. He's predicting S or A tier players to instantly improve Bayern Munich's chances at winning multiple trophies and making a deep run in European competitions this upcoming 2025/2026 season, while C or D tier players might not have a role on the team at the moment or would likely only be used as depth pieces. Some players discussed like Florian Wirtz, Nico Williams, and Bradely Barcola will not be joining Bayern this season while others like Luis Diaz or Nick Woltemade seem to have a better shot. Danny mostly talks about attacking players since Bayern's main transfer strategy at the moment seems to be around filling that hole at LW as well as finding someone to back up Jamal Musiala and Harry Kane. The Bavarians will be losing Leroy Sane and Thomas Muller and are looking to fill those shoes and bolster the attack. Other players discussed include Chelsea's Christopher Nkunku, Xavi Simons, Rafael Leao, Eberechi Eze, Kaoru Mitoma, Marcus Rashford, Leandro Trossard, Rodrygo, Cody Gapko, and more! He even talks about the transfers that have already been done like Tom Bischof and Jonathan Tah.

Cole Palmer scored two goals and provided the assist on Joao Pedro’s goal. Levi Colwill and Malo Gusto got assists on Cole's goals. Keeper Robert Sanchez played an outstanding match and earned a clean sheet. The match was not without fireworks, Joao Neves was sent off with a red card for pulling Marc Cucurela’s hair & after the match PSG keeper Gianlugi Donnarumma & manager Luis Enrique tried to stir up a fight with Chelsea players. After our match breakdown we break out our crystal balls to look into the future and talk about what’s next for Chelsea Football Club now that they will have a target on their backs.
