This episode’s guest is Tom Slocum. Tom is the Vice President of Trifecta Solutions where he has a focus on helping oil & gas operators with plug and abandonment, as well as a suite of other oilfield consulting services.
Tom is also running for the open Texas Railroad Commissioner seat and has been campaigning the last few months. I met Tom through the club house app almost a year ago and always loved the passion that he would bring to his arguments. Regardless if you agree with his politics I have to respect a guy that is an advocate for his industry and willing to put himself out there for his cause.
This episode is filled with discussions about Tom’s views on Texas Energy policy and what he would bring to the table if he was elected to the Railroad Commission. We talk about the current issues that Texas is facing and ways to level the playing field between green energy and traditional energy sources.
Hope you enjoy the show.

This episode’s guest is Brian Gitt. Brian is a recovering green energy executive who has recently launched himself into the energy content creation and investment research space.
Brian comes at his arguments from a “facts first” perspective and he’s got some of the most articulate energy takes I’ve seen recently.
This episode we debunk some of the most common energy myths that you see being spread in the media. We talk about how solar and wind are not the most practical or economic way to lower CO2 emissions. We dive into nuclear energy and clear up the fear, uncertainty and doubt around nuclear power. Lastly, we discuss fossil fuels and the critical role they are going to play in the future of our power mix.

This episode’s guest is Magdalena Gronowska, aka @Cypto_Mags on Twitter. Mags currently works as Vice President of Business Development for Coinkite and previously worked in energy policy and carbon markets prior to making the jump over to the Bitcoin space.
I love Mag’s passion for the energy industry and Bitcoin. She makes some really interesting points in this episode about how we are living in the first era where we have heavy industry that makes a fully digital product.
This episode is filled with discussions about the carbon markets. We talk about Cap and Trade and the effectiveness of these programs over the years. Lastly, we dive into Mag’s experience in Bitcoin mining and how she views the world from the lens of someone that went from working for government to working in the wild west of Bitcoin.

This episode’s guest is Daniel Turner. Daniel is the Founder and Executive Director of Powering the Future, where he is advocating for American Energy.
I follow Daniel on Twitter and I love the messaging he puts out around promoting the use of our domestic energy resources. It makes sense because the United States has lead the world in energy innovation and has unlocked hundreds of years of recoverable reserves, creating thousands of jobs in the process. This should be celebrated by everyone, but instead of embracing this accomplishment, the current administration seems to be in favor of outsourcing our energy from China in the form of wind and solar.
This episode we discuss Daniel’s organization “Powering the Future” and the initiatives they are working on. We talk about the current energy policy blunders that are being pushed forward and the hypocrisy Daniel sees in the green movement. Lastly, we discuss national security considerations and how we should be embracing American Energy, instead of opting in to a future where we outsource our vital resources to our number one rival, China.
Hope you enjoy the show!
