On the 24th day of August, we hear the call to celebrate the Grace of God at work in the holy life and witness of St. Bartholomew, Apostle. This Bartholomew is also known as Nathaniel in the Gospel of St. John, who recognizes in Jesus of Nazareth the hope of Israel and of the Nations, taking the gospel into the world, become the Apostle to the Armenians and earning the Martyr's Crown for his labors.
