  • AM In The PM #17: The Downsides Of Not Living Together

Approaching our mid-20s and still not living together has a lot of downsides. There are some benefits, of course, but we feel the drawbacks are becoming more significant by the day.

In this episode, we talk about the problems that being regularly apart from each other causes and some of the things we plan to do differently when we finally move in together in 2021 (or sooner).

  • AM In The PM #16: How Minimalism Has Improved Our Relationship

For the past 3 or so years, Mark has started to take a minimalistic, purpose-driven approach to the items he brings into his environment. The idea of excessive clutter is very overwhelming to him. He believes that if your environment is well-kept, your mind will be free to focus on the task at hand.

Within the past year, Amanda has drastically increased her focus in this area, as well. She has reduced the number of unused items in her space and now thinks twice before bringing unnecessary distractions into her environment.

We feel that being on the same page in any relationship is crucial. Just like many other things, hoarding and clutter can be a huge area of conflict. We do our best to mitigate conflicts like these before they get out of hand.

  • AM In The PM #15: Our Opinions On Chain Restaurants We've Visited

Back during much more normal times, we would go out to eat at our favorite restaurants far more frequently. We're fans of good food and we've eaten at many different establishments over the past 4 years.

In this episode, we give our thoughts on local and national chain restaurants we have visited. We focus on three areas of critique: food, atmosphere, and price.

Look out for a future episode about our favorite local Pittsburgh spots!

  • AM In The PM #14: Things That Bother Us & Things We Love About Each Other

We'd be fools to say that nothing in our relationship bothers us. It's just not realistic. Every couple is made up of 2 individuals with different upbringings, habits, and thought processes. There's bound to be some things that aren't ideal.

That being said, there are also many things we love about our relationship and each other. When you find the right person, you start to realize all the little things that you can't believe you once lived without.

Both parts are equally important to talk about. We do our best to explain them in this episode.

We think it's important to be open about our life stories and provide our listeners with ways that we have dealt with different issues and grown from them.
