I, Mavin, focus on the mental health and psychological side of being stuck how the mind resists change even when growth is needed. Daisy brings real-life experiences and practical insights, showing how these patterns show up in everyday life and relationships.

This episode of the AM MAVIN 256 Podcast is a quiet, honest conversation for anyone who feels tired of living according to other people’s expectations. For those who overthink their choices, explain themselves too much, or delay their dreams because of what others might say.
At the center of this episode is a simple but powerful question:Do you think they care?
That question shapes more lives than we realize. It influences the way we speak, the decisions we avoid, the relationships we stay in, and the courage we hold back. In this episode, Tumusiime Mavin explores where this mindset comes from, how it slowly takes away our peace, and why constantly seeking approval can disconnect us from who we truly are.

In this conversation, we talk about:
Why caring about people’s opinions feels so heavy
How approval can quietly become identity
The emotional cost of people-pleasing
The freeing truth that most people are not watching us closely
Learning to choose yourself without guilt or fear
Finding the courage to live without asking for permission
Moving through 2026 with clarity, intention, and peace

In this solo episode of The Mavin Mindset, I, Mavin, take a deep look at one of the silent mental health struggles affecting many young people today: comparison.
Why do we constantly compare our lives, progress, and worth to others? Why does it leave us feeling anxious, inadequate, or stuck? In this episode, I explore how comparison impacts our mental and emotional well-being, especially in a world shaped by social media and unrealistic expectations.
In this episode, we talk about:
How comparison affects mental health, self-esteem, and inner peace
Why social media intensifies anxiety, self-doubt, and pressure
The emotional weight of feeling “behind” in life
How to protect your mental health from the comparison trap
Healthy mindset shifts that support healing, self-compassion, and personal growth
Remember: Comparison doesn’t just steal your joy—it slowly erodes your mental well-being if left unchecked.
This episode is a gentle reminder that your journey is valid, your pace is enough, and your mental health matters. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, discouraged, or stuck in self-doubt, this conversation is for you.
In this deeply emotional episode of AM Mavin 256, I sit down with a remarkable young author still in his Senior Six vacation, preparing to join campus yet already living a life many can learn from.
He opens up about his first book, Left Alone, a true story of loss, grief, and depression after losing someone who meant more to him than anyone else. The pain followed him to school, pushing him to the edge including four suicide attempts that nearly cost him his life.
Instead of giving up, he chose to write.
His second book, Broken Pieces, speaks directly to the boy child reminding young men not to lose their worth, identity, or future because of relationships or heartbreak.
Today, he stands as a mental health advocate, using his scars to heal others and his story to give hope to youth battling silence, pressure, and pain.
This is not just an interview it’s a reminder that your darkest chapter can become someone else’s survival guide.
