Steven Erikson is best known for his series, Malazan: Book of the Fallen, which introduced readers to a fantasy world unlike any other before.
While studying to become an archaeologist and anthropologist, Steven co-created the universe with Ian Cameron Esslemont, ultimately serving as lore for their tabletop RPG campaigns. This created stories and characters spanning millennia, of which both authors have continued to flesh out with new novels.
Steven is currently working on two additional trilogies, one set before and one set after the Book of the Fallen. He has also added two science fiction novels to his repertoire since first publishing Gardens of the Moon in 1999.
I am extremely thankful for Steven and his time for this interview. Thank you to the subreddit community for the questions you submitted and thank you to those that support the podcast!

Recording via FaceTime audio using his brand new setup, we revisit the tricks of the podcasting trade according to one of the most accomplished and valuable assets in the podcast industry. Aaron is the resource you want to reference for anything in multimedia. The man is an encyclopedia when it comes to technology and I always enjoy visiting with him about current events, equipment, or industry changes.
